We rented a car from Canarias.com through our hotel in Los Christianos, Tenerife. When we spoke with the receptionist of the hotel at the end of the rental period he kindly offered to leave the keys with him and let him handle the return. So far, so good.
When we 2 days afterwards passed by Canarios.com's office in Los Christianos, I just went in to be sure that everything was ok. And then an old woman at the desk in a very rude and aggressive manner began to yell at us that it was not ok to leave the keys with the hotel – even though we booked the car through the hotel and the hotel itself offered to take charge of the return. She was so aggressive that I at last had to turn my back on her and ignore her while speaking to one of her colleagues. Very bad experience. So my advice to you is to choose a company who knows how to treat their customers properly.
