The worst company I have ever seen! They didn't come and install due to corona, but they keep on sending Bills for some thing that we never used!!

I have to say, that this company is just really the most manipulative company that I have encountered in the last 13 years! No matter what they offer, you should know that over 50 % of what they offer on the phone has hidden prices and they don't tell you about it when they sell you the product. They also will not tell you your rights and possibilities that you have, when you agree to buy something. F.ex they do NOT tell you, that the moment you have activated your online account, you are bound to 6 months of deal and cannot get out of it. But, you will not really know what you got in your package, until you log in. They even encourage you to logg in as soon as you have hang up the phone with them! It is a twisted circle that they use to lock people in 6 months of paying for something they were lied about that they will get! A nice – Thank you, but not interested- and hang up the phone right away, will save you lots of stress, money and you will not feel like a fool, when you realize that they lied and manipulated you!
AND, you cannot complain! YAY!!! Isn't that AWESOME :-D!?
You can only complain to naevneneshus.dk, if the product costs more than 800 kr!
I say, keep away from another capibeast (Capitalistic Beast) 🙂

I changed from Yousee to Canal Digital a few weeks ago, because I want to watch the big football leagues, especially La Liga. This I told the CD-salesmen (talked to several) and of course, they understood completely! Now, quite by chance, I hear, that the "Sportspakke" with TV2 Xtra will not be delivered from the start in January 4 (if at all!), to all the CD-customers (including me), who receive their signal through internet. They knew perfectly well that this was so in my case, but Canal Digital chose to keep this a secret. I've been a satisfied customer for years (summerhouse), but this is genuine fraud. Yes…FRAUD. If I can give you "ZERO STAR" for your service – I will gladly do that! I pay kr. 792,75 every month for a FULL PACKAGE with Canal Digital and all I now get is a BLACK SCREEN and other canals that I am NOT INTERESTED in. My job is to ensure full payment to CANAL DIGITAL in a timely manner – Your job is to ensure that I get what I have paid for! Anything else is a FRAUD – In a criminal court you will not only need to refund my payment but have to pay compensation to me for NOT honouring your part of our contract. I have instructed my lawyer to look into this matter. I look forward to receiving a response from Canal Digital. Yours sincerely / A VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER

The picture quality is perfect and there are quite a lot of film channels, and that pleases me.
What I would like to see are the Swedish and Norwegian channels, they are more up to date with British thrillers unlike Denmark who insult the viewer with extremely old series.To receive these I have to subscribe to YouSee, more expense.
For some reason here in Assens at my address I cannot receive the rentals, the streaming is terrible.

My experience with Canal Digital.
1.) On April 22nd, I was phoned by a sales person and asked if I would like to upgrade to Premium from Family.
2.) He informed me I would save money going from DKK 469 / month to DKK 430 / month due to a campaign rebate. I accepted the offer and in my opinion we made a binding verbal contract. At that point I was a satisfied custmer of Canal Digital.
3.) The salesman then called me an hour later and informed me he made a mistake and that as I was a new customer (started in February), the offer could not be made and that the actual cost would be DKK 649 / month if I wanted the Premium package.
4.) When I complained I that we had made an agreement, I was put on to your subscription people who treated me very rudely and unprofessionally. This person told me that although we made an agreement that the Canal Digital had the right to recend the offer within 14 days. I would question this marketing practice.
5.) Needless to say I am looking at switching to Viasat as soon as my commitment to Canal Digital expires as I consider this to be highly irregular marketing practice.

I write just about the Internet connection on cable TV channel.
Usually speeds are as announced. Ping and stability are also very fine.
Occasionally there are short (sometimes frequent) outages.
Support once was very helpful by upgrading router's software. But I still believe that I should be just informed about it earlier and it should be done automatically in short time after upgrade was available.
Second time I complained about filtering some incoming ports (Microsoft File Sharing), but even if I am software engineer and I am 100% sure that configuration is fine and worked with Fullrate, I was told that they do not filter those ports. I believe that they don't want to open those ports, or people I talked with don't know what exactly is going on.
Update: Finally confirmed that ports 25 (with exception of CanalDigital's server), 137鈥?39 (udp/tcp), 445 (udp/tcp) and 1025 (udp/tcp) are closed in both directions.
Quite mixed feelings.
