CanaDream RV

The RV was great and it was well equipped with everything you need! Traveling by RV was a perfect way to experience Canada! We had a fantastic time with no problems at all!

Warning:

We rented a motorhome from Canadream in June 2019. Our experiences with them were positive until it turned out that we had supposedly caused a collision that we knew nothing about. Initially they could not tell us where this would have taken place. They had to figure it out. After an hour and insistence from our side it became clear where the story came from:
Someone had taken a photo of the rear of our rental camper and passed it on to Canadream with the announcement that we had hit a Fraserway motorhome when turning. There was no photo proof of any damage. Although our camper did not show any signs of damage, that photo was a reason for Canadream to charge our credit card extra for 750 dollars. Our statement that we know for certain that there was no damage and the statement that there was no evidence was not accepted.
We were divided that this amount would not be refunded if there was no claim. A period of 6 weeks was mentioned. Under the pressure of a departing aircraft, we only agreed. Incidentally, we missed that as well, which resulted in a loss of 400 dollars in extra hotel and rebooking costs.

In the meantime, it is more than half a year ago and no amount has yet been refunded. During that time we regularly asked for an explanation why this takes so long. We have never received a good answer to that. People are apparently still afraid of a claim after six months. At least: we hope that is the explanation.
That was once but never again at Canadream. You have been warned!

Everything went very well. Although they forgot to collect as at the hotel. We had an appointment for 3 pm, but they came at 4.30 pm after we called them.
But the RV was really good equipt and the bed was great.
Also driving was really easy.

Unit was clean and ready for us. We enjoyed the camper van for our short holiday in ON. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was easy to find and access.

Great RV-a little too big for us, but it was a relocation special. Everything was clean and working well. They gave us extra blankets at pick-up because of the cold weather. Both pick-up and drop-off went very well with impressive staff at both locations.

Excellent service and wonderful campers. We had one in its first year and it was very comfortable

Good service, good organization and good vehicles….but be careful to the general conditions of the rent contract! These conditions are very strict and quite unfair for the guest! If something happens during the rent your Canadian Dream can easily turn in a Canadian Nightmare!

really nice service we have a wonderful coast to coast road trip .

The hotel pick-up was 2 houres delayed regarding appointment time and we had to wait 2 houres for the airport transfer. This is to long even it is for free, you had sued with this.
The remaining service was very good.

excellent trip with RV. provide all of services about parking information in BC, travel guidance, RV instructions, and staff's recommendation during my trip. looking forward to have other trip with CanaDream RV next year.

This is my third time renting from Canadream and I've not been disappointed yet. Well-maintained vehicles, great service before pickup and upon return. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Will be booking next year's Adventure shortly. Helpful hint always book well in advance to take advantage of discounts.

Connie from the Halifax drop-off location was quite rude and expect us to pay our way to the airport. I could tell she was either the owner or wife of the franchisee, she was no help even after telling them that we had to drop off early because of an emergency we had back home. I wouldnt want her running my business. She spoke German so we wouldn't understand what she was saying. The Toronto team was awesome and will do business with them again.
