Absolutely avoid these guys!!!! I ordered a "Genuine New 45N1705 45N1706 45N1707 Battery For Lenovo Thinkpad 12.5inch S1 Yoga Laptop" It clearly was shipped from China and clearly is a counterfeit. Not even a good counterfeit. Cheap paper label; they even put a piece of black tape over the Lenovo copyright label, presumably to avoid legal issues. You can feel through the paper label that the battery cells do not even fill up the plastic case. Also note that they are not a Canadian company, despite their name. The Markham address they use is a company called 鈥淗abit Parcel Ebusiness鈥?which appears to be a parcel re-packaging and forwarding company. The site is a scam and their products are a scam. I should have known better when I realized they do not list a phone number. The only way of contacting these guys is via email and a 鈥渓ive chat鈥?which is never live. There's no way I would put this thing in my laptop. It doesn't even look safe. I have reported them to the BBB for what that's worth and opened a paypal dipute..

My Dell XPS13 laptop battery was bulging and I needed a replacement. I ordered and received the battery in 6 days (during covid and post-holiday post-canada stress). It was exactly the model I needed. And they even included the 2 mini screwdrivers, exactly the correct ones needed to open my Dell XPS13 case and the other one to remove the screws on the battery. I replaced the battery and everything works 100%. I just wanted to say thank you for such a perfectly executed order. From date of order to getting to me took 6 days even with CanadaPost delays. I think they are in BC and I'm in the Montreal suburbs, so it crossed the country. Anyway, I'm a real person that is so happy that I'm writting this review, I really needed a battery fast (2 kids on zoom schooled from home + 2 adults working from home = we needed my computer fixed ASAP. And canadalaptopbattery delivered 100%, and above and beyond. I will DEFINITELY recommend to anyone around me who needs a battery replacement. Perfect transaction. Merci beaucoup!!!

Do not purchase anything from CanadaLaptopBattery. First, they are NOT located in Canada. They are a Chinese company with multiple sites to mislead you into thinking they are a local company, depending on your location. Second, as you've read some of the reviews below, there is a risk that you may not receive they item your ordered and even then getting a refund is a challenge as they refuse to cooperate. Third, the battery they supply are cheap in quality – the battery lifespan deteriorates at a rapid pace. So that "new" battery of yours will be essentially worthless in a few months. This is something they refuse to acknowledge. All these reasons are why you should NEVER buy anything from a shill company in China that refuses to provide quality assurance on their products.

Worst experience.Claim to have shipped my ac adapters when all they have done is submitted the info to DHL. Only after I threatened to get Paypal involved did they actually ship my package. Constant excuses from flights are cancelled because of the pandemic, etc. After I mentioned that I have been in the shipping business for 30 years and I know the difference between info submitted to the courier and an item actually picked up and shipped they stopped responding. I submitted a claim on Paypal and that very same day the item shipped. I am now waiting to receive my laptop charger. I would not deal with them. Stay away and avoid the frustration.

Horrible battery, will not take a full charge, only lasts about 2 hrs and decreasing daily, now down to 1 hr.

Will not respond to RMA requests for returns.

After finally receiving the battery that I ordered, I disassembled my laptop (msi GT72) and I installed it. The battery not charging at all. I communicated by email with them to finally go for the option to get a refund and return the battery. I returned it to Missisauga, from where I received it. The next day I received an email telling me that I should send it to China with an RMA number. I told them that I had already sent the battery to Misssissauga and that I wanted a refund. They find all kinds of excuses for not paying me back. Never make purchases on this site.

Claimed to have shipped my battery when all they did was submit the electronic info. I waited 2 weeks with no movement from it. Tried emailing 3 times with no response. Am now currently in a dispute with them over Paypal. I just want my money back.

They have either lied twice already there or do not know how Canada Post systems work. Avoid.

Battery received did not work, computer would not recognize it.
Bought another from different company and it worked fine.
