Canada Vet

Ordered July 17th. Have not received as August 24th. The business uses no tracking on packages. Really?!?!? This is supposed to save the customers money. What other business ships to retail customers without package tracking?!? They tell me to contact them on September 5th to discuss a possible refund.

Canada vet no longer shipping to Canada?!? Really disappointed, I鈥檝e always been happy with my orders but you鈥檝e lost my business for sure

I鈥檝e emailed Canadavet in regards to a concern and the only response was that they would get back to me within the next business day. Many days have passed with no word from them

I can't say enough about Canada Vet. I have annually purchased flea and tick meds for my dog and always received them in a timely manner. Any time I have a question they have always gotten back to me promptly

I have diligently read the reviews from clients living in Canada and I hope the regulations change for them soon. I live in the United States and find Canada Vet a great place to shop for my cat's flea and tick medication. Their prices are lower than anywhere else and I do not have to have a RX for his Revolution (which requires an RX in the United States). Although it takes several weeks for the order to reach me, I am learning to allow for the additional time.

I can't say how disappointed I am, I have shopped here for years. And now they don't ship to Canada???May I suggest you change the name from Canadavet to USAvet!

Make you go through all the hassle of ordering then no choice to ship to canada when they say they do. Then I email and they say unfortunately at this time no shipping to canada. I suggested perhaps they add that to there web site which they now have. Poor customer service wont be ordering at all from them.

I've used Canada Vet for several years and have always been pleased with their low/fair prices, prompt order filling service, as well as almost immediate response from Customer Service when I contact them. Because they are in Canada and I am in the States, shipping times normally are about 3 weeks, but I've learned to accommodate that timeline and order at least 1 month in advance of when I need the supplies, ps.

Glad I used pay pal because I still have not revived my order. Over a month

I have 12 rescue dogs, all well-loved, that depend on Canada Vet for all their medical needs. I appreciate all that Canada Vet does for my puppy-pack! I highly recommend them to any pet lover & owner!

Fantastic products, great customer services, good prices.

I unknowingly adopted a feral cat who was sedated when I got her. After 2 years she now is a loving cat but only on her terms, I have never picked her up. I could not take her to a vet because we couldn鈥檛 catch her from under the bed. She has had ear mite since we got her and I couldn鈥檛 find a vet in Arizona to treat her without seeing her. Thanks to Canada Vet I have been able to treat her for her ear mites.

The only reason im giving 5 star is that everything that they sell is good, even though most comes from out of country. The flea medications were always ontime and when they were lost in the mail Canada vet was prompt to send another package. Last time i ordered flea and tick medication was in 2018 but it did not come, another was ordered and that one did not come. 2019 was the same thing 3 times and nothing, it turns out that the new laws in Canada Customs will not let you order medications online without a vets approval and code so buyer beware, do your homework before ordering medications. I still order other items from this company and will continue to do so . Customer service is perfect and i have never had an issue with them , polite and willing to solve the problems you might have.

I have been taking my Pet cat Tiko there since last year. Never had a problem until he got sick 2 weeks ago. He was breathing hard and sticking his tough out. Dr. I believe Boron? or something (never had him) examined him and told me he had a very high fever and we had to treat him right away or my "kitty will die" first of all even it this was true that was a cruel thing to say in front of my kids. They were devastated. Then he goes on for 10 min how to save him, we started with a treatment or blood work for $377 which he did not recommend then to $500 with Xrays and then $500 a night for hospitalization OMG we were looking at $2000 to $3000. I'm like why can't we lower the fever and give him something for infection then go from there. He did not like it. Told me to think about my options and said he had to leave to attend to other people that needed him more than I did cause it is obvious I don't want to save my Kitty. Long story short, I ended up leaving, sat in my car for a while to digest the news. I saw him waving to me to come in telling me that he could just start with antibiotics and lowering fever for now, may be that would buy some time, when I said no, he had me sign all 3 forms saying I refused treatment and then telling me that my family will wake up to a dead Kitty. He was very insensitive disrespectful no human feelings. I was charged $98 for doing nothing he made myself and my kids cry. It was a very inhumane dr. I will never ever, ever step a foot there again. I took my cat to Walker Clinic where he was treated right away and was told that he was not dying. It was an infection with high fever that was treated with antibiotics and they gave him something to lower his fever and a shot to help him eat all for $165. Next day, I went and they examined him for free was given a plan if he did not start eating gave him another shot to help him eat for $30 that saved his life. My Tiko is alive an kicking, happy and playful all because of the Walker Rd clinic. They all were wonderful, their first concern was to save my Tiko and discussed money after. Lauzon clinic only wanted money. If you love your pets never go there. I left in tears feeling numb and soooo very disrespected and mistreated. Life is not all about money. Being a vet is all about feelings and healing and wanting to help. We all want to make money and I know that owning a pet is not cheap but at the same time people should be treated with respect. There are different ways of giving news. This Vet cared only about sucking all the money out of me. It was very clear. I just needed people to hear me because of what we went through. It was a very traumatizing experience.

If I could give them a zero I would.

Canada ? Found out they鈥檙e shipping from Singapore. Waiting 3 times longer for my items because I wanted to save a couple bucks. NOT WORTH IT! Would have gotten this in 2 days somewhere else. My fault. Learned my lesson. Never again!

Wondering how a company that is called Canada Vet from Canada does not deliver within Canada??

Have had great experience so far with Canadavet.com. I order flea and deworming meds for my cats but also for 2 feral cats that come in to eat and sometimes spend the night. Unfortunately Canadavet can no longer ship these meds to Canada. This is fine for my own cats but not for the feral cats who won鈥檛 walk into a cage so I can bring them to a vet. The vets refuse to Rx for the feral cats claiming they 鈥榤ust see the cats鈥?bf Rx鈥檌ng. Guess they want to charge for the meds AND the visit. I explained multiple times that these are feral cats, can鈥檛 just pick them up and put them in a carrying cage…but to no avail. So now I deliver to a US address and drive 1.5hrs for pickup. Not ideal of course but better than nothing. Thankful I have an option for these little furry beings and they don鈥檛 have to suffer.

Thank you for not only the savings but availability of the two medications we give Ethyl & Lucy monthly. We are in a rural environment so having mail order is very convenient.

They charged me $124.63 CAD, of which $7.91 CAD was for shipping and handling. Now that I got the item, I see that the declared customs value is $70 AUD, and on the CBSA form it was calculated as $68.31. Not only I was overcharged by them in almost double the price, I ended up paying $18.15 CAD in import fee, meaning their overcharging did not even include pre-collection of taxes.

Contacted the customer service, they blamed postal strikes and said "As far as the declared value, unfortunately, we don't have the resources to change the amount so we receive the pre-printed stickers with that amount on them from our couriers." PRE-PRINTED STICKERS THAT THEY CAN'T CHANGE…. such nonesense. I have photos of my receipts, the packaging and the customs form + the email, if anyone needs proof.

Canadians beware, this operation has only a P.O box and sells to Canadian customers out of Australia, and lies to customers and the customs agencies and revenue agencies of both Canada and Australia in terms of the money they collect from customers.

I wish I had read reviews before ordering. I have two dogs and this is the first time I ordered on line. I usually buy direct from our vet but thought I would shop around. It came out to be a bit less expensive through Canada Vet as they had a sale but when I finally received the product, I had to pay $50 on duty. I emailed the company and they said that it is on their web page but I have yet to find this on their web page; had I known, I would not have ordered from them. I will not be buying from them again. I feel that Better Business Bureau shouldn't let them put Canada in their name as it's misleading. Even the Order receipt received indicates a Vancouver address, nothing on there indicates that it's from outside Canada!!

I ordered Seresto collars for dogs and they sent me counterfeit collars. DO NOT BUY SORESTO flea collars from this company.

Health Canada and border services confiscated product. This is not CANADA vet but some overseas outfit who know product will not be delivered to you under Health Canada rules but will take your money. STAY AWAY

I love CanadaVet. They give me what I need at a great price. I wish it arrived faster but it鈥檚 not Amazon 2day that I鈥檓 used to. I鈥檝e used customer service twice, once by phone and another by email. I was impressed how quickly they fixed my mess up. I had ordered flea med for my dog (over $100) and somehow ordered twice. They quickly responded and canceled the extra order…whew!
I haven鈥檛 found a better site to order my Revolution so will keep coming back.
