I used Canada-mover mostly they are very professional great services they ever do.

Alero Moving & Storage (NorthAmerican Van Lines) needs to go out of business. Their central corporate office as well as their Calgary office behavior confirm they really are a disgrace for the Canadian business community as well as the whole society based on the unethical, irresponsible, inconsiderate, unprofessional, misleading, inaccurate and misrepresented service they actually provide. They demanded 100% of the payment upfront.

For example, they do not give the opportunity to check the truck weight at load point then later rip you off with extremely high weight, as well as with abusive charges if you need to do a transfer load into the 53 footers. They portrayed they were members of the Canadian Association of Movers to attract clients, charging them in excess. They are NOT members, hence using that certification illegally to mislead clients. Their internal communication is extremely poor. They do not respect at all customer鈥檚 personal property, they unilaterally dispose of it without any authorization from the legal owner, and also handle belongings improperly and carelessly. This company is a real shame, that promotes, and supports (even cover up) unacceptable practices that is degrading Canadian societal standards (supported from the top management down). STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!!
I had a terrible experience and after 4 months they have not even paid the contractual amount.

Centennial Moving Company scam artists and thieves. The billed weight was double my quote which was based on a detailed listing of items. They hold you and your items hostage until you pay up for excessive and unsubstantiated charges. They stole my three most valuable items valued at almost $1,000 and offered a paltry $60 in compensation. Avoid Centennial Movers they are a total rip off.

My experience wasn't the best but was ok. A bit hard to communicate sometimes + they broke one thing but this can happen to anyone.

We moved from The Toronto area to Vancouver island Oct. 2018. The day before our move we phoned to ask when the truck would arrive and waited. No one got back to us. Moving day we called again and no one got back to us so we called the original booking agent and she found out they had lost our order. They scrambled to find a truck and sent one from London Ontario. It finally arrived at 3pm to load our stuff. The crew worked hard and with Our great preparation was able to finish at 9pm. Needless to say it was very stressful as we had to be out and start driving west the next morning with our two dogs. We arrived in Nanaimo 7 days later and took possession of our house and waited for the truck to arrive within the contracted window. Well, we slept on the floor because delivery was 4 days late past the window. After paying for insurance to cover any damages and there was damages the crew chief told us if we made a claim it would come out of his pay. I cannot blame the crew or the booking agent because they did their best under difficult circumstances. But after head office screwed up the booking, the schedule and sold us useless insurance they should at least contact us. We filled out a "satisfaction survey" and waited nothing…then called the agent and she said someone would contact us …nothing. So after spending over $16,000 we have been completely ignored.

I applied on this site months ago, in september or october for a moved date in Nov of 2012. The majority of monving quotes i got feed back on came end of march, beginning of April 2013 long after i had already moved to my current location??? I ended up browsing the phone book for a moving company i had heard alot about in the past and was not happy with the over all experience. It was a moved from Calgary AB to a remote area on the west coast of BC….Overall the idea of a site like this is good, but it just doesnt work. 2 small men with big hearts in my experience not reliable, very clumsy, did not live up to expectations promised, I had been physically disabled they promised this help with packing n stuff, my old place was left a complete mess…would NOT recommend…..

Accommodating to all my needs; was able to haggle prices a bit; offered all I needed. Will definitely use them again!

The service Canada-movers.ca does what it is supposed to…that is, get you quotes. The problem is, it doesn't screen the companies that are quoting. I had, and am still having, an ongoing battle with the movers I chose to go with. It has been 3 weeks, since I booked the company, gave them a deposit and fought to have my furniture picked up on the day they said they would. I have yet to have it delivered to me at my new location, and do not have a delivery date yet. My furniture is out there somewhere, and I have no recourse. Several attempts to contact anyone at the company have left me completely frustrated. For your own peace of mind – DO NOT BOOK GREENLINE VAN LINES.

I have spent the last week getting non stop quotes via email and phone calls. You should warn people about how many companies will get their personal information

I got phone calls very quickly! I didnt end up moving but i was connected with a lot of people and they had all the same info and tried to help gove me great prices!

It was a great site to request information. Once I got contacted, I only received 1 phone call and the rest were quotes submitted by the companies via email. The quotes received had more or less the same information to them which leads me to think that the site knows what to look for when asking for online information.

I recently visited this site after I decided to move from Alberta to Ontario. Almost as soon as I entered my information and required services, I received several emails containing estimates on my move. This eliminated a lot of the "leg work", from the information I was provided from Canada-Movers.ca, I was able to research the companies who submitted their quotes, which allowed me to make an informed decision! This site helped me a lot, it helped set me at ease, we all know moving can be extremely stressful!!

I was moving to the other side of Canada . And I didn't have a lot of money . I had a few things I just bought and wanted to know if it was worth bring those things with me or if I should just try and sell them and buy them again in the new place . So I ask for some quotes . I was pleasantly surprised to find out I was able to bring my stuff with me . They were so much cheaper then some of the other places I had called . And it was easy and quick to ask for the quotes . One of the movers called me and she was so nice and helpful on the phone . She help me in every way she could . If anyone is looking for the best quotes I would recommend this service . They are so much cheaper then going to any mover web site and asking just any one . I asked a couple of places and they told me 1350 . But I got the same service here and it only cost me 730 .
