I've placed several orders for in-stock items that have gone fine, but he aware of their business model. Their discounted item are items that are discontinued overstocked. If it's on back order you take the chance that they will never get the item. In my case a two week delay turned into 10 months and I still don't have the item, but the item has been offered continually for sale since, all be it at a higher price. Every month I've received notices of short delays. No call from customer service despite a half dozen years plus email request.

I ordered an item December 1 for a Christmas present and to date it has only ever shown as in process. That's 17 days so far without any progress and I have called customer service every day this week. They only tell me that they have tried escalating my order assuring me that it is not a back order issue they are simply that back logged. I will never do business with this company again.

Not an honest business to deal with. Full of excuses. Ordered an item online. Credit card charged 2 days later and shipping label created. They say item has shipped. USPS has no record of receiving item. They say it must have fell off the pallet. Likely excuse, not. Now they tell me to wait ANOTHER 10 days to see IF the item shows up? I doubt it. After ordering I went to see what type of reviews the company had. Believe them. Don't do business with these folks.

Hi, I bought some climbing rope 6 weeks ago paid upfront as usual for rope n delivery. It takes a few days for a response with an update. I live I Sydney Australia. My rope was sent within in the USA. They were not aware until I bought it to there attention. I asked for a refund. Seriously no customer service at all. This would have to be one of the worst companies I've dealt with. I highly recommend u stay away from these guys.

I found a pair of Breeze LT GTX in a store for $180. I came home and searched Amazon and found an identical pair and in a color I liked for $98. I received them in the mail two days before promised and they are exactly what I ordered. I like them and will order from this store again.

They shipped me the wrong item, and after reading everyone else's review it was probably intentional. I'm guessing that the email I will "eventually" receive will state the item is on backorder. I should have done my research before purchasing from this sham co. DO NOT BUY FROM CAMPSAVER.

Very disappointed with the business interaction I had with CampSaver. I placed an order and it did not tell me it was on a 5 week backorder until AFTER the transaction went through. I immediately emailed their customer support to cancel the order. I did not get a response so i sent about 6 more emails and called a few times and still no response. Finally about 5 1/2 weeks later they responded (after it shipped) to tell me "unfortunately the order cannot be canceled as it has already shipped". It is obvious they ignored my request to cancel the order until well after it was too late to do so. What a shady, dishonest practice.

I saw the 2+ star reviews but I took a chance because it was almost 40 bucks cheaper to buy my hiking boots here compared to REI. This is my first purchase (so can't speak to how it would be if things had gone wrong) and it went incredibly smooth and fast. Got exactly what I paid for. I'm a happy camper (and hiker), quite literally.

I purchased a Marmot Highlander jacket from Campsaver recently. Their pricing was very competitive and they had the color I was after.
I was a little worried given some poor reviews but went ahead with the purchase.
Well what can I say, I received my jacket, it's exactly what I was after. They used UPS to ship the jacket and I could see exactly where it was (note I am in Australia). Campsaver customer service was excellent keeping me informed of when my jacket would be sent and followed up that I had received it.
Will definitely buy through them again. Seriously this has been as good experience as dealing with any of the large international companies.

The site promises a 5-10 day delivery window. It has been 1 Month and still no delivery or communication regarding the delay. Speaking of communication, Campsaver communication is horrible. It is next to impossible to get up with them because when you call an automatic response tells you that "they are not currently taking calls…" and when you e-mail you get no response.

I ordered a pair of running shoes that were on clearance. After placing the order, I immediately received a confirmation email. I selected the free shipping option, so I wasn't expecting the shoes to be immediately shipped. The confirmation email provided a link to check the status of the order, which I did about every other day. After 6 days, I sent an email to customer service asking for an update. I received a response letting me know that they were behind on orders, but mine would ship soon. The next day I received a shipping confirmation. Today I received the shoes.
I'm giving a rating of four, because even though the shipping was a little later than I anticipated the shoes arrived in good condition. I would order again from them.

Someone made a $305 purchase with my credit card #. Have tried to contact. Phone # leads to no one, not answering the phone due to covid and directs to their contact by email info. All contact email info leads to 402 Gateway timed out page. Should answer any doubt's about this company. STAY AWAY, GO ELSEWHERE!!!!

I placed an order more than a week ago. Payment was put on hold, sent all information requested but they take more than 24 hrs to answer each e mail, tried to call but you never get to speak to a real person.
I would never order again. I rather spend a few more dollars and have fast shipping and great customer service as Amazon always does.

Do not buy from campsaver.com. They sent me the wrong item, twice, and I only ordered one item. If I had to wait for a backorder, it would be another 2 months before I seen the item I ordered, and camping season will be over by then. I should charge them interest for holding onto my money. Fortunately for them, the lowest rating I can give them is one star, they actually deserve a negative 5 star review.

Do not order from campsaver.com. They sent me the wrong item, twice, and I had only ordered one item. Lucky for them, I have to give them one star, they should get negative 5 stars. Now, with the wait for the backstock to come in, it will be at least 4 months from the time I placed the initial order. No wonder their rating is so low. I should charge them interest for holding onto my money. I repeat, DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. You've been warned.

Being rather adventurous, I ordered a 650$ tent at campsaver's to be shipped to Germany without spending too much time reading all the negative reviews. I wondered how it might work out and how long it would take for the tent to eventually arrive 鈥?will we be alright for summer vacation or did I just dump some cash in the Atlantic Ocean? And I was pleasantly surprised: everything went smooth and quick; the parcel was seamlessly tracked and arrived a little more than a week later (earlier than noted).
My overall experience was very good, didn't have to contact customer service though.

Both Actually came from Opticsplanet.com so I'm quite confused about that. But one of them arrived with the box really beat up in the green version to me looked a little faded for some reason. I tried to call both places, Campsaver and optics planet. Neither one will take phone calls……. Sorry but I will deal with smaller companies going forward. I don't have the time or the care to deal with their lack of employees. I'd rather pay more elsewhere than deal with this crap.

Customer service is horrible. They do not answer their phones and took 3 days to get back to me through e-mail. I ordered $450 worth of hiking boots and paid expedited shipping. Unfortunately, they did not inform that a pair was on backorder when we placed the order. We found out a week later on the eve of our hiking weekend. There is no excuse for poor customer service! Will never purchase from them again.

Ordered a pack. They sent a confirmation email of the order. It was the wrong size. Not what I ordered. So I called no answer (several times, and emailed too). Their only response was your order was shipped. So I got stuck with return shipping cost, because if you want your money back you have to pay for that. The other products I got were also cheaper elsewhere. Shop anywhere but here.

I order 2 Stanley travel mugs which were of a very poor quality and tasted like plastic. Return policy sounds good and offers free return label. That is if you want store credit. If you want a refund they deduct $8…. so basically I paid to ship my items back.
