Unethical and Untrustworthy Company

This company made a purchase from us on the 12th February. We highly recommend not accepting orders or placing orders with this company and any affiliated companies with its owner, the timeline below explains the unethical and immoral behaviour of the owner of this company and the company itself.

Therefore please read below and consider if this is a company you wish to do business with:

– This company placed an order on our website on 12th February, when placing an order you are shown a pop-up asking you for feedback on the order process. The feedback was extremely negative and critical giving 1 star out of 5 for our website and business.

– Obviously we as a company were surprised to receive such negative criticism on the feedback pop-up on the ordering process, we thought it strange someone would even consider placing an order if they did not like our company or our business, this was highly unusual.

– Therefore our duty manager contact the customer, which was the owner of this company and he stated he wished to cancel the order, stating he was not happy with the company terms nor that it was not a Danish website, hence we were surprised by his comments and stated we would happily cancel his order and a refund would be processed against his account.

– 2 days later the owner of this website left extremely negative comments on trustpilot regarding our company, recommending that Danish customers did not buy from our website as was not Danish but instead British. Which of course is stated on our website. The review was made to be as big as possible, with continued use of postscript (p.s) obviously to bring about maximum display and maximum damage to our company.

– Obviously we were hugely surprised by this behaviour, we contacted the owner who stated he was not happy we were not a Danish company, he was also not happy we were selling to Danish customers, we were very surprised by his attitude towards us.

– Following this it was found that this company purchase was for his ecommerce websites, obviously this calls into question his behaviour from the offset, especially his immediate criticism of our website on our feedback survey which is published online.

– Furthermore trustpilot requires an order number to leave a review on our company, something he had following his purchase and subsequent extremely quick cancellation.

– Therefore the actions of this company were clear, to place an order and immediately cancel with the intention of receiving an order number and subsequently be allowed to review our website.

– The criticism was directed towards Danish customers considering buying from us and recommending not to buy from our company as we were not Danish, however purchase from other Danish owned websites, for example his own.

The order was placed and cancelled same day, the funds received back in their account within 3 working days, extremely fast and efficient service whilst receiving constant communication much quicker than industry standard.

Hence, this company and owner had only one intention which was to damage our company to promote Danish companies such as their own, this very nationalistic approach is against the common ethical values of the EU, hence we recommend that you deeply consider dealing with this business and in particular the owner.

Currently the situation is with our lawyers who will be contacting this company directly imminently.
