I had such a good first experience with CampEasy that I used them a second time and will use them when I next go to Iceland. They have a good range of vehicles, including the Viking which is 4 x 4 with raised chassis so I could go on some of Icelands notorious F roads. The tablet they provide with each van is very useful. Not only is it a fast wifi hotspot, it has links to Safetravel.is which is an essential information site and lists campsites that are open and nearby attractions. With the Covid situation at present, Campeasy were very helpful and offered a lot of flexibility. Thye have treated me absolutely first rate and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

We received what we expected: no surprise and the whole process worked without effort and very smoothly. The van was really good. A bit simple in the furnishing but good enough for the task. The engine and the rest of the mechanical aspect was great!

We had an amazing experience with Campeasy. When we first decided to travel in Iceland and started looking at campervan rentals; I send emails and messages to about a dozen agencies. Campeasy responded within minutes the first time and also everytime I had a question. I had a very positive feeling even before we were there. I was also able to extend my dates through their website very easily (I prefer doing these things online rather than talk to someone about dates and times).

They picked us from the airport and gave us a nice walkthrough of the contract. Our van was big and super comfortable for my family, 2 adults and 3 children. The beds were big and comfy, bottom bed could easily sleep 3. The duvets, sheets and pillows were nice, and the heater was superb, we could easily manage with the lower setting. The kitchen space was big. We could even fit the camping table inside the van. We could also charge multiple devices at the same time.

The tablet they provided was very useful, we used it for navigation the whole time. It also had lots of useful information like, attractions, campsite, weather forecast etc. The wifi hotspot was really useful.

If we ever do this again, I would still get the same van from Campeasy. It is the way to travel in Iceland and gives you so much flexibility. There are so many campsites, especially if you are not too much of a fuzzy person. The campsites we have been were always reasonably clean.

The only improvement would have been having a motorhome, then no need to convert living space to a sleeping space every night. But this is more economical.

Cons: (not really a negative, just something to consider for families with small children)
1. It would have been much much better, if the back seats had normal seat belts instead of just the waist belts. I know it wouldn't matter for most people, but we have 3 small children 7, 4 and 1 . It would be a nightmare for the driver to have a 4 and 1 year old in the front. So we had to make do with a booster seat for our 4 year old in the back, because we cannot use the regular carseat with just the waist belt.

And they could see almost nothing of the scenery from the back when we are driving. So they were on their tablets the whole time we were driving. It was lifesaving, so points for WiFi

2. Also I would personally prefer a flatter stove. We were always holding the stove the whole time we cooked. We were really scared the vessels would fall of the stove.

But all in all , an amazing experience.

Convenient, problem-free and great value for money.

Very satisfied with our choice to explore Iceland in a CampEasy camper. We (two adults) did a 10-day RingRoad tour and found the camper to be well-equipped and the CampEasy crew always able to answer our (minor practical) questions in the chat on the navigation tablet. Before our trip we were upgraded to the Easy Clever 4×4 (originally booked the Easy Auto) – for free! When we picked up the camper, it was very clean and tidy, and it was well insulated to withstand the cold summer nights if we turned on the heater.

Also; both of us are quite tall (1,96 m and 1,89 m) but found the bed (surprisingly) comfortable but a bit short (1,90 m), but we knew this prior to our booking. Our feet were able to dangle outside the end of the bed, so the length did not bother us.

All in all, the best recommendations from us!

I reserved a r.v. for this summer by Camp Easy. Unfortunately, I am in red zone and I can't start my trip in Iceland, so I must delete my reservation. In few days Camp Easy refund all the sum I paid for booking! A great firm! I hope to visit Iceland in the future and I am sure I'll rent a r.v. at Camp Easy!

We couldn't travel to Iceland because of COVID-19 and we had paid the campervan yet. However, they returned us our money without any problem. You can trust in this company. We hope to travel with them soon. I recommend you without any doubts!

Easy to book and I had to cancel due to COVID and got my refund. It took about a day to get a refund issue email. No hassles.

Good experience with Campeasy in Feb this year. The van was comfy and clean, the team friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this company.

CampEasy was awesome. We got the newest 2020 VW Easy Viking 4×4 van. This was the biggest van they have and it was great. It was really bad the week we were there starting 03/7/20 and there was a ton of snow. It drove thru it like a champ. So glad we got a 4×4. Some of the camp sites we went thru was climbing up incline in slick snow and it was able to get up great. Also, at pickup the guys at had extra sleeping bags and sheets but we gave it back because we needed the space. There were 5 of us (2 adults and 3 kids) and we each had a hard side carry on and 1 large check in suitcase for our big blankets. And we were able to fit all 5 carry ons in the trunk under the back bench and had the large one next to the sink turned sideways so the heater can still blow. Also, I was able to get full use of the heater all night 7-8 hrs without having to restart the car. The 2 extra high capacity battery works great. I even had the fridge on some days. The fridge was supprisingly really cold. You can adjust the temperature and at lowest setting, it can even freeze the drinks. Thank you camp easy. We will use you again on our next trip to Iceland.

Very clear website and options when booking beforehand, excellent pickup and drop-off, and clear instructions from Campeasy's very helpful Holly on arrival at Campeasy HQ. The 4WD van we hired functioned superbly, and all the cooking and heating equipment for a comfortable stay in the van worked smoothly. IT support and the phone helpline en route was excellent via the Android tablet that Campeasy provides automatically as part of the rental. Wonderful stay in Iceland, and we'd go Campeasy again if we can make another trip to this beautiful and welcoming country!

Very well organised company with helpful and friendly staff. The car was in good condition and well maintained.
We especially liked the integrated tablet solution for navigation, internet access, hot spot, manuals and a chat channel with CampEasy. Well done :-)!

For anyone traveling to Iceland for the first time or the 50th time, I highly highly HIGHLY recommend choosing CampEasy! Holly and her team were impeccable when it came to customer service. Most importantly, keeping us in the loop via their tablet during our trip in the winter proved valuable when they advised us to steer away from certain areas during the storms.

Do it! You won't regret it!

It is a great experience to travel around Iceland by camper van, and it is the greatest to do this with CampEasy. They provide great service and helpful information during our stay in Iceland. We rent an old model car due to considering of the budget, but it turns out the car function normally which is quite impressive. The heating system is a plus, especially in the cold and windy night. We will definitely rent a camper van through CampEasy again next time we visit Iceland.

We booked a Campeasy easy clever campervan from Oct 5-12-19 and drove around the complete ring road in Iceland. Wow, what an amazing trip, the campervan is the only way to travel, we had no problems and absolutely loved the heating system. The wi-fi and I-pad made it so easy to navigated around Iceland. A special thanks you to Yoann Michalak who helped us with our campervan, and showed and explained in great detail everything we needed to know about the campervan and navigating Iceland. From start to finish camp easy were awesome. Friendly, helpful, easy and a pleasure to deal with. The campervan I had was awesome for my 8 day trip around Iceland. Nothing went wrong and no issues what so ever. Had everything you could need, including a powerful heater for those cold nights and Wi-Fi to stay connected and keep up to date on the weather and road conditions.

Our holiday to Iceland was easily our best one to date and CampEasy's campervan was an amazing part of that experience. Holly was fantastic in getting us all sorted and started and had some great tips for what to do along the way plus the van had everything we needed and was a really comfortable way to travel (and that's not easy to say as a tall traveller). We would use CampEasy again in a heartbeat.

We rented from CampEasy for our 12 day road trip in Iceland. We were upgraded to a Easy Clever 4×4 van and it was perfect. There were 2 of us and the extra space was great. Everything in the van worked well–we slept very soundly too! Our trip was fantastic and when we come back to Iceland we will rent from CampEasy again.

Holly helped us when we arrived and again when we dropped off the van. We loved her! She was so helpful. The van was clean and included everything we needed (and more, I didn't realize that GPS was included, it was helpful to see points of interest close by). My friend and I just returned from a trip to Iceland. We rented the Big Easy camper van from Camp Easy. We thoroughly enjoyed the camper experience. We were happy that we chose the large camper as the weather was wet A LOT! This enabled us to move around inside, cook inside, store our clothes easily, and sleep comfortably. We had two small issues that needed attention and literally within minutes Camp Easy had a fix for us. Only thing that we could not get to work was the Bluetooth. I wish someone could have gone over that with us before we left. The GPS was great once we figured out how it really worked. A bit of a learning curve there.

My wife and I rented the Volkswagen van that was capable of traveling the F roads (all wheel drive and larger all terrain tyres), the van drove well both at highway speeds and on the gravel / rocky roads.

Camping fitout was good, everything you need in there. Bed was comfy, heater was very warm, fridge worked a treat, a perfect little self-contained home for a week. We also paid for the WiFi hotspot (a must).

The staff at Campeasy were very helpful, especially Holly.
