I saw a Citroen C1 advertised on auto-trader and called Camberley Motor House to discuss the car. Adam assured me it was in good condition but told me 鈥榟onestly鈥?it had a bit of a 鈥榙ent鈥?on the passenger side. He said it wouldn鈥檛 cause any issues and wouldn鈥檛 bother him so I paid a 拢95 deposit to secure the car because he was so sure I would buy it once seen.
Went to look at the car this morning and the 鈥榙ent鈥?is actually significant structural damage to the passenger side, obviously from an accident. The left side above the front wheel has been hit, or hit something, which has caused the left side to shift and the headlight has been pushed in. This is not mentioned in the ad and was not told to me when I called to discuss.
Adam was purposely misleading and now refuses to refund my deposit, which I think is disgusting as he wasn鈥檛 honest. Had he told me the 鈥榙ent鈥?was more significant, I wouldn鈥檛 have bothered to pay a deposit and definitely wouldn鈥檛 have taken the time to see the car.
As such, buy from them with caution. The prices you see are also misleading as they charge a 拢95 鈥榓dmin fee鈥?which isn鈥檛 disclosed in the ad either.
