over billing

My friend used my bank card to set up an account there so her boyfriend who WAS in jail could call her . He has since been released and she notified them of that and they are still deducting money from my account .

Not doing what they advertised

Applied for there phone service to contact my son who is in jail. When I to find out what is going on with my order. I couldn't get any answers. They took my money and now they say I didn't apply. Fraud, filled out the application for service giving a password and nothing works. I want my money back, live on disability now I can't talk to my son. I can't afford to pay for it twice.

Unauthorized ACH Debit after cancellation

This is an honest report on suspicious business practices and a bona fide business experience-related complaint.
==============================================

I tried to follow up on a refund that was promised May 10 ("…within 24 to 48 hours") but never received. In addition, the WWW.CALLINGTODAY.COM charged an additional ACH debit AFTER I had cancelled service and closed the WWW.CALLINGTODAY.COM account. Whats-up-with-that?
———————————————————————————

I was put on hold for OVER an HOUR waiting to speak with a supervisor. We could hear noises in the background but they never responded.

CALLINGTODAY claimed I activated the "service" which I never did.
Check this out:
"Our policy requires that you call and verbally cancel your account. This is simply a security measure to verify you are actually the account holder. Please make sure to cancel your account prior to your billing date to avoid further charges. Call (619) 331 0018 and our representatives will be happy to assist you."
This is so there will be no record of your cancellation request.

They further said that they sent an "activation email" which they NEVER did.
ADDITIONALLY they debited my bank account after I had cancelled, making their total deception amount to $68.97 which overdrew my bank account, all without authorization because I called and cancelled within an hour of initiating it (same day). But because there is no documentation ("Our policy requires that you call and verbally cancel your account.") they can claim you never cancelled!

I am not through with this WWW:CALLINGTODAY .. I am retired and on Social Security so I can follow up, while most folks don't have the time. I do.

Check out the California BBB site at:
https://www.bbb.org/sdoc/busin…

I have asked the BBB for the following:
Desired Outcome:
(1) Refund $68.97 minimum
(2) BBB on-site review of WWW.CALLINGTODAY to audit records of cancellations, complaints, purported emails, and proof of customers logging in to their accounts ( so they can claim we "used the service"). Account listings for customers should be obtained to verify other customers' experience with service and refunds.
(3) Investigation of WWW.CALLINGTODAY for fraudulent and deceptive business practices.
(4) Please post this complaint so others may avoid being taken advantage of.

This company says it sells phone calls for inmates, but the money never goes to the inmate.

I tried to put money on my son's books so he can call me and was suckered into a scam where the inmate never receives the money, only a bogus phone number that the prison doesn't allow the inmate to call.

Won't answer my calls

I purchased 100 minutes for receiving jail calls and when I looked at the website it states that it is only for landline phones. I immediately called the customer service number to request a refund due to my phone not supporting and not only was the representative rude but he refused my request and my request to speak with a sypercisor as well. I then hung up and called back and ive been sent to voicemail each time after
