I ordered 2 items from this website on a Saturday. The website's delivery section stated that orders placed at the weekend will be despatched the following Monday. I never received any sort of email confirmation for my order but it was showing on their website when I logged into my account. Monday came and went and so did Tuesday and still no email notification for despatch. I logged back into my account and the order showed as "processing". I emailed them and it came back undelivered. I then sent them an email via their contact form on their website but couldn't wait for the reply so called them at 9.15am on the Wednesday as I needed the items for the Friday. The lady who answered the phone told me they were currently having issues with their emails so they wouldn't have seen the email or contact form that I sent! She found my order on the system and then told me that one of the items that I ordered was out of stock! I said were you not going to inform me of this? To which she replied we have no email so wouldn't be able to! I said I'm not in front of a computer at the moment so cannot check my account but did I not leave my phone number when I registered? She replied no I can't see one! I have since logged on and found that I did in fact leave my phone number when I registered, but they didn't think it important to call a customer and inform her that something she ordered was in fact out of stock! I said so you were just going to leave me hanging and never let me know its not in stock? The website should not allow people to order and pay for items that are out of stock. Terrible way to run a business. All she kept doing was apologising, which didn't help me in the slightest! I asked her if they have my money (which they were quick enough to take) and she said she could give me an immediate refund. I said yes please refund me the whole amount, I don't want to buy anything from you and will not be ever buying anything from you. In her defence, the lady on the other end of the phone was very polite and has since issued me a full refund. But nonetheless, it's a terrible way to conduct business and I would never recommend them or buy from them again.
