I have been approached by their debt collector. I鈥檓 sure I鈥檓 not alone. It is an outright fraudulent site full of fake profiles. That is why everyone wants to cancel. There is no way they can collect the debt because to threaten court action would be laughable for what is already a fraud.

Keep clear. trying to cancel is a nightmare. Sent them two forms as laid down in their terms of service but no reply. I have changed my payment card and the bank is aware of the problem. the fraud department blocks the payment and emails me to give it a yes or no. even had payments coming out of my PayPal credit account. I have asked PayPal to investigate. So avoid at all cost and the site needs taking down.

This website is designed to be impossible to interact with. Extremely difficult to cancel membership after signing up.
Besides that, most profiles are fake. Avoid at all costs.

few months ago (finally my efforts were rewarded and I succeded in finding a decent dating site), but C-date won't let me cancel my subscription. They want to keep charging me every month. The majority of the profiles on C-date are 100% fake that's why everyone wants to cancel. But they make it nearly impossible! Hands down, it's the most blatant scam!

I sined up for a small fee too now they are asking for over 拢100 or past to debt collection what should I do pay them or ignore?

THIS WEBPAGE IS A SCAM. You cannot cancel your subscription unless you send a FAX? Cancelled the payment with my bank and received a threat that if I didn't pay extra charges would be added and passed onto a debt collection service. The people behind this site should be in jail!

I have tried emailing and faxing the cancellation along with another fax exercising the 鈥榬ight of withdrawal鈥?br />
Please advise that you have these and advise the account is terminated from today 13th July 2020
Seem strange that the email that I questioned the first months fee was Incorrect and you answered straight away, but again did not answer me when questioning C-date customer services about actioning the emails/fax鈥檚 that I have sent regarding terminating the contract.

Signed up with C-date and they charged me cheap fee I soon released it was a scam. As they wanted to charge me 132.22. Euros. I had already cancelled my payment with bank. As I didn't want to pay anymore. I assumed it was a trial price how wrong I was Now I have received a letter from CMS Global Collection Services demanding 拢187,05 EUR for non payment.

This is a scam avoid. Don't really know what to do

I am in the process of using TrustPilot to help resolve my cancellation of membership to C-Date.
I have faxed the appropriate form from their web-site, and sent a recorded delivery letter to the Luxembourg Office.

I saw a review saying they were really good, went onto the website and they were offering 拢2.99 for one month premium membership, so I signed up, not many women on the site. So much later I checked my emails and saw a receipt for my payment, but instead of being 拢2.99 it was 拢11.70, I read on and it said that after the month they would take 拢119.70 from my account for three months, something I haven't agreed too. Wish I had come on here and read the reviews first, it said in the email that you can email them and ask for a withdrawal from their 'contract' which I have done, got a generic response saying that I have a ticket and they deal with oldest first, and if I send any more then I will just go to the back of the queue, they are indeed scam artists

Avoid C-Date at all costs. Any young attractive woman who shows an interest in an older guy is a scammer. One to watch on the UK site is Serena Booth with the User Account O257LC35. C-Date don't seem to want to do anything in spite of reporting her and one other.

Complete scam! Misleading and money grabbers! Not anywhere on the initial sign up does it tel you that they鈥檙e gonna be taking 拢119.70 every couple of months and when emailing them as requested to cancel you get a response with them wanting your details and signature?! No you are not having my signature!! A request to cancel my profile from the registered email address And entails of bane and profile ID should be more than enough to cancel any further payments and delete any information on that profile!

Absolute Scammers. They've just tried conning me out of 拢129.70. This will not be paid. Don't fall into the trap. They will have to go through the British courts to get a CCJ and being in Luxemburg it's not viable and the courts will never uphold their terms and conditions. Just ignore them so they can't get your payment and other details.Once they have them they have you.

Just to let you know that C date in my opinion is a scam site pure and simple, The 'director' behind the company has a name easily traceable on the net and is also 'allegedly' responsible for several other 'suspected' dating sites around Europe (see 'be2' in Denmark for example) It seems the best way to deal with this company once you find yourself signed up and scammed is to email them direct from their Trust pilot email which they then have to respond to legally. please also note you can use the 'model withdrawal' form sent attached to the original 'YOUR A PREMIUM MEMBER' email, this can be cut and pasted into an email and then edited /deleted as required, make sure you put in the details requested in the small print. Then make sure you block any future payments from your bank, Any future threatening letters received from them or debt collectors from around Europe are unsafe and not viable for legal enforcement as you have followed their procedures to cancel to the letter, keep all of your correspondence which is legally binding, you can then threaten them with the UK SFO and the relevant Euro equivalent if they try to persist. Basically its the classic con of trying everything to make you pay and once you do they won't turn it off. This site will eventually disappear when enough attention comes their way and then a replacement will take it's place, so be warned…. there is no such thing as a free lunch in life.

Worst page ever. Full of scammers. And whats the worst you need to send documents to Luxemburg if you want to cancel your membership. Pathetic.

They are designed on basis of deception, and they operate on disgusting business model, there they lure you in by fake profiles with beautiful photos, but when you sign up and purchase membership, these profiles can't be found anymore and no real woman is willing to communicate. If you decide to stop being separated from your cash and want to cancel – you have to jump through rings of fire. Basically it's easier to just change your bank card. What a rip-off!

They ignored my email to cancel further payments, then they threatened me with legal action, lucky my bank declined payment, they sent me a email saying I owed them 拢119.00 plus 拢10.00 admin fee, the 2 of the ladies I chatted with were in Africa, I suspect they may have attempted scamming me if I was not aware, C date got great reviews from a app that I used to find the best rated, stay well clear of them ,

You cancel you automatic subscription with in the time frame given, and you still get a threatening reminder to pay once your period has ended.

I got the link from best dating sites 2020 from google . C -date was one of the 10 in the list . But any way went ahead with it . So manipulating this app took a payment off me before my trial run. Also I have e-mailed them I鈥檓 in my rights of 14 day cooling off period to cancel and refund without any explanation they still haven鈥檛 replied to me .

Called my bank they said they can鈥檛 do no refund, but if they don鈥檛 honour the refund 14 days time to call them and they will get a refund for me .

Then the app don鈥檛 let me access it most times , it鈥檚 shabby rubbish honestly highly advice stay away from c-date dating app.

Guys defiantly make sure after the first payment they take a CPA is made in your bank account cal the bank and cancel that immediately or they will be taking out more payments from your account . CPA basically means you have authorised them to take payment from you so call bank and cancel that it takes 48 hours. Cheers guys

These c.-date guys are professional scammers , you got time to reply to trust pilot why ain鈥檛 you replying to my email. Regarding cancellations I got one message from them saying Another payment won鈥檛 be taken but that鈥檚 a lie if the CPA ain鈥檛 cancelled by calling your personal bank the reality is they can still take the money. MAKE SURE YOU CANCE CPA(contiguous payment authority). These lot are liars liars liars .

All what is said below is true.

Get the payments stopped, which i achieved last year. This can only be achieved by YOU getting the payments stopped. They will do F-all to stop the unauthorised withdrawals. After a few months, you may get a threatening email trying to black mail you into paying hush money, to stop public exposure. The standard letter was very amateurish, copy and paste and drafted by a fool.

Never give in to blackmailers.

I don't need or want any subscription anymore with c-date and I don't know how to cancel my subscription as I emailed them eve now still waiting for them to cancel it. They said 1st month is R129.00 but I paid R517 ,now they took R1317.00 and is only for 1month please help me get my money back the payment is still pending help me ,I just need my money back and subscription to be canceled that's it

This very much frustrating. They are not even cancelled my profile neither deleting profile. when ticket was raised they said u need to follow instruction download form but there is not option to do that as well neither via app nor via website.

If I could give this zero stars I could. What an absolutely horrendous scam of a business.
I cancelled my premium sign up on the day I that I signed up, yet over 拢119 was taken from my bank account and every time I email customer service they say my account is still active even though I have sent several emails from the same email account I used to sign up to CANCEL. The replies are saying they can鈥檛 find my account so they won鈥檛 cancel it – deliberately unhelpful trying to keep the account active so they can keep charging. This is basically a huge fraud and I have had to speak to my Bank and logged it with the police too as unauthorised money has been taken out of my account and Customer Services refuses to cancel my account.

Awful, horrendous business.
