BuySellAds

I am a publisher running multiple blogs and forums. Buysellads was a platform I use to sell ad space. At first, it worked fine for me. I would get "Ads sold" email from them, and gave the option to accept or not. Of course, I'd accept, why not?

Then from time to time, they'd cancel the already accepted ads, and made the transaction completely disappear from the record for "fraud". Ok, I thought, it must be some scammers who tried to buy ads from me through Buysellads.

Then eventually, BSA removed my blog from their MarketPlace because "It attracts fraud" they said. What the heck? I contacted them and said I have no way of knowing if an advertiser is a scammer or not. All I get is "Ads Sold" from BSA and my job is just to click on "Yes" or "No". Since BSA has the resource to tell the difference, I am willing to work closely with them to prevent it from happening. I asked them please identify advertisers' legitimacy before sending them to me for "yes or no". Well, that did not work.
They still avoided all the responsibility on their part and they refused to list my blog in their Marketpalce again.

After that, I have sent them multiple emails and they refused to even reply.

From then on, I have sold nothing even though people can still see "Ads Here" on my blog which would lead to BSA inventory page if they click on it. Clearly, the one attracting the scammers was not my blog, but BSA marketplace! Conclusion, BSA just does not want to be legally responsible for the scammers who THEY attract. That's why they erase all the records and blame it on the publishers…

So I have been running BSA codes on my blog with only the backfill which is Adsense ads. Recently, all the sudden, the backfill no longer works. Adsense no longer shows up. I went to BSA.com, and I saw a message "Important: A system update is in progress. Ads are still serving during this time, although intermittent issues may be noticed in your account. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any questions, please email support and we will be happy to help!"

I emailed them. No reply for 2 weeks. I sent it again from a different email address. Again no reply for a week.

I have to say, they are extremely unprofessional at this point on the top of trying to avoid the responsibility of possible fraud from advertisers…which was THEIR job to identify in the first place!

Very disappointed. I actually never even wanted to tell my experience even though I was unfairly treated. The final strike is their unresponsive behavior. I believe they have a "blacklist". And they don't respond to emails from this "blacklist".

Time to share my experience…

It is a scam. Same experience as others.
1) takes money
2) claims that you were flogged for fraud and demands photocopy of your driver's license
3) does not allow you to log in to see the ad performance
4) does not respond
5) no traffic boost whatsoever coming from the site you supposedly run the ads

I wish I had seen these reviews earlier! I had purchased an ad spot which went ok at first. I deposited a large sum of money and purchased many more listings, only to have my account closed without explanation. They only refunded half of my money, and now they won't answer emails. No info on mailing address or phone number available. This is a SCAM SITE

I tried to buy ad on a blog via BuySellAds and a few hours after I made a payment (using my credit card), I received an email that my payment has been tagged as fraudalent and that I need to photo my national ID (!!) next to my credit card (not all numbers had to be visible) and send these personal documents to them. I answered that I will not send such pictures to them by any chance. I provided my VAT ID, my full name and address, but that was the last time I heard back from BuySellAds. A few days later I tried to login to my account with no luck – it was gone without a single word. It looked like my payment is gone also. I therefore reached out to BuySellAds multiple times again and only after I informed them that I will take legal steps against the company I miracuously received an email with refund info in just a few minutes. Such scammers! I never experienced such requests and acting from any other online store.

I believe the support team had never existed. Sent a few emails, they didn't bother to reply or support (or the team simply had never existed).

First, My banner was approved. Then 1 hour later my account was closed without any explanation. Very strange, absolute waste of time.

We attempted to use BuySellAds.com for a client of our digital agency. The experience was extremely poor. From the quality of the leads the service generated to the quality of the customer service. Our initial placement yielded tons of referrals from international sites. Only after pushing the team at BuySellads, were we informed there was an additional fee for U.S. only traffic. That being put in place, we still did not see any quality leads. We use 3 services to track our inbound leads. It was easy to distinguish the BuySellAds traffic due to the Carbon tag in the URL. Unfortunately, when we approached BuySellAds.com with what we were seeing, the reaction was to say, their service is great and we are mistaken. It's not hard to track a URL with their name in it to see the originating site is garbage. Our team will not use this service ever again, and we recommend other marketers to avoid them. If you decide to try them, do yourself a favor and track back the URLs. You will not be happy with the gaming, adware pages, and other referral sites you find.

Had an account once that was going well but as soon i choosed to go bigger and buy more expensive ad they closed my account when the ad was paid.

Beside that since then the design and possible finding of best ROI ad's in there has become very bad.

All in all not worth another look.

Could be a scam.
I have bought a monthly ad campaign for roughly $150
I had 2 clicks between the first and the 19th of october. I could get clicks from facebook and google at much less money. To be precise I can get google clicks for $3.5 per click.
This service is not transparent at all.

When you place an ad on their sites.. You get an automatic ban and get your account shut for no reason. These people will never give you any warning or suspension, they will shut your account down and that's it. No live chat support in this day and Era where there are online web chat services that come free like tawk.to whatsoever
