Buyee

Made a purchase back in november 25th, and up to this date (January 19th), I have received nothing, and tracking number shows no updated since november 29th, when it left Japan (ordered with small package AIR).

Contacted them and they basically told me that they will contact Japan post to see whats going on, but that it can take upwards to three months.

I'm going to file a dispute over at Paypal, stay away from this site.

I'm always very satisfied with purchasing items on Buyee. You can find many unique things for quite reasonable prices. From time to time the website offers coupons, so that the items You purchase or shipping get cheaper. The items You order are purchased reay fast. It usually also doesn't take a lot of days for them to come to the Buyee warehouse. When it comes to the Customer Service, they respond quite quickly, which is also very good. I'm generally satisfied with purchasing on Buyee.

From the moment shipping came into play, I knew I would never use them again. When it comes to shipping they have a user interface that basically gives you indication that you can consolidate packages until you've already paid for a few to be shipped separately. So, I spent a total of $80 to ship four small items, none probably weighing more than a single ounce, separately. When I did find out you could consolidate, 15 minutes after paying all that, I contacted them asking if it could be adjusted so that my items could shipped together, they basically replied 'no take backsies! We are already delivering them to the post office!' which I could understand, maybe, if the packages hadn't taken almost a month to be checked in with the Japanese post office after that. I had a little correspondence with them after that where I let them know that I wouldn't be working with them again, after that at which point they kept on sending me cs emails on how I could consolidate "the next time" I purchased from them, each time with me replying like 'hi did you not understand when I said the words "never again"?'. Then when tracking basically stopped dead for months after the items left Japan, I messaged them again. They basically replied 'well okay, we'll look into it, but its gonna take a few months okay!'. So yeah, crappy CS so far and too expensive, but nothing to write home about. My life is already stressful enough, so each time I just deleted the emails so they wouldn't be a stressful reminder of what I was going through with them. BUT BOY OH BOY. My first package arrived, and it hit it out of the park. The package was already ripped open when it arrived. The cat on the ring had its tail bent so much it pierced the tiny amount of bubble wrap and plastic bag they had put it in. And the front of the cat was rusted. Paraphrased, they said 'What damage? I don't see any damage? AND even if there was damage, which there totally isn't any, we wouldn't owe you $#*! because you only got the standard plan and you can still technically put it on your finger so it functions as a ring!'. So yeah, last straw. The damage is really clear in the photos I sent them. I'm filing a PayPal claim. And if the other 3 items come damaged, I'm skipping their CS and going straight to PayPal.

Buyee is a scam. Dont ever buy from this site. The shipping cost to Malaysia is ridiculos usd 900 using DHL for weight of 3.2 kg.The customer service using polite words but wont help you to solve problem. Wont refund you.

I've been using Buyee for many years now and it's really easy to use. The bidding process on sites like Yahoo Auctions works great as well, bids are processed fast and efficiently.

They handled my orders swiftly and with care. Never had any issues with them up to date. Highly recommended!

I've used Buyee multiple times specifically to buy anime goods from Mercari Japan. I've always been able to find what I'm looking for even when looking for rare items. Very easy to use and they often have useful coupons. Most recently when I used them they had a whole period of having no service fee, usually it would be another $5 on top of the item price so this was super useful. I'm definitely using them again.

During the 11.11 Buyee had some really also free service fee, daily coupons, free ship coupons and deals. I managed to find a doll costume for 2000 yen, paid zero service fee (which is normally 500 yen now 0 yen) and used a 500 yen free international shipping coupon! Shipping came out to be 650 yen but with the coupon I only paid 150 yen for small packet air! It was awesome… literally got the item at a discounted second hand price and literally shipping to be free… I can't wait for more coupon deals in December if there is any!

This company reeks of a scam. The customer service reps use polite terms, but that doesn't help when they refuse to give out information, or consistently offer misinformation and contradictory statements.

I ended up overpaying for a shipment lacking in contents and after 2 months delay. One parcel never made it. I'm probably looking at a $3000 loss.

There are so many red flags with Buyee that I don't know where to begin. I regret ever taking a chance on them.

Hi! Recently I have bought lots items from Buyee, especially Tomica diecast and Starbucks mini cups.
I can find more variety items'products that I am looking for.
There are some items that I can't find at other sites like Ebay, Amazon, etc.
In here Buyee sites, I can get more items that I want.
Hope I can get more varieties items for my collection.
Hopefully, I can get the coupon discount for my incoming international shipping cost.

They are bad news !!!

I have been using Buyee for about 2 years already and I have not found any other better websites than Buyee. The products that I have made and received are all in good conditions and there are no problems. Buyee's services and promotions drives me to buy more as their promotion benefits me as I kept on spending. I would say Buyee's customer service are doing a great job in assisting me on my shipping problems especially during this COVID-19 pandemic. Overall, if you are looking to buy items from Japan without going there, Buyee is your best choice.

Very helpful proxy shipping service and reasonable fees, especially if we want to import from Japan but sellers don't take American credit cards or ship to the US, such as from suruga Japan. Also could bid from yahoo Japan auctions

Pretty good packing and consolidation of packages if needed. Have been using them for several years so far with no problem. The buyee website is clear to navigate and check order status as well.

I have been using Buyee to purchase collectibles from Yahoo! Japan Auctions and other Japan-only sites for some months now. The process is pretty straightforward and many shipping options are available once products reach their warehouse. You have the option to consolidate packages and store them for 30 days for free. Their fees are very reasonable and their service is fast. There are coupon campaigns all the time and they even have a Firefox extension to add products to your cart directly from supported websites. So far, I haven't had any issues with them. Seriously, I would not hesitate to recommend Buyee to anyone looking for a service of this kind!

I decided to use Buyee for Yahoo auctions since I saw that my usual proxy wasn't having any success with bidding. The account set up was easy and the fees weren't too bad for Yahoo auctions. The only problem I had was that it wouldn't let me bid at all on one of the auctions. It was a real downer since there were so many rare items from my favorite anime. Otherwise, they are a great service for bidding overseas.

I have these limited items with reasonable price… and all thanks to Buyee Mercari that helps me not only completing my collections, but also making me contented all the times!

It's not my first time to use Buyee's service and I am very satisfied with their service. Sometimes, you can get discount coupons from their website but it really depends on your luck.
