It doesnt have reliable customer service and they do not refund!
I bought a reciprocating saw from a store. It was supposed to be shipped within 3 days. After 5 days I called the store as there was no indication of shipping. The guy said that the item isnt available anymore. I asked for refund he directed me to contact the so called "customer service" for refund because they never received the money as they didnt ship. I called the customer service, one named Michael answered but said they dont have the money as they do not interfere in the deals. When I built pressures on him, he claimed that his boss agreed to refund the money but I should give them 10 working days! that was my mistake. I could ve called my bank asking to retrieve my money under fraud claim. But I didnt! After 12 days I called them asking why they didnt refund the money, the same Michael denied completely that he promised of refund. Of course, what did I expect? It became too late to call my bank.

AND THAT WAS MY MISTAKE, because at then I could have called my bank to retrieve the money back raising a fraud claim, but I didnt! After 12 working days I called them again, the same "Michael" replied but denied that he promised of any refund and that I should call the store again, of course what did I expect? He just needed time to pass so I wouldnt be able to retrieve the money.

Buya is like that big E auction site, but specifically for pawn shops. I had never heard of Buya before I found the XBox I wanted to get my son on there, and some of the reviews of the site were discouraging. But, like that big E site, you have to take note of who is selling. I was able to contact the seller directly and get a question answered. They were very helpful and I felt confident buying from them. I wasn't disappointed! The console arrived exactly as I expected and works great.

Site has NO customer service, seller does not answer proviced phone number. Sorting this one out with credit card company.

Do not use this site. It is a scam . Ordered a sewing machine advertised ax like new. Looked like it was taken out of trash. Did not even clean the dirt off of it, multiple broken parts. Even looked like property of stickers were removed from it. Just threw my money out the window. No refund at all. Stay off this site.

I've bought a couple things on here for dirt cheap. Personally never had an issue.

I purchased a Garmin nuvi 2589LMT. It doesn't鈥攕hows traffic data. Missing traffic receiver cable. In sellers listing stated 鈥淐omplete 鈥?Includes all cords, cables, connectors, and attachments as included by factory鈥?
Despite buya.com's supposed policy of 7-day returns from its sellers this listing stated "no returns" (therefore no way to initiate a return online). But it is significantly NOT as described and both the seller and buya.com are not responding in a timely or effective fashion. I now had to open a dispute through Paypal (I WILL get my money back!). I really, really should have paid attention to the mostly poor reviews of buya.com. Live & learn I guess…

worst service I have ever seen. bunch of pawn shops with zero customer service. Will never answer any issues or points …do yourself a favor and stay away

I am extremely dissatisfied . I placed an order online on 4/25. The advertised delivery was between 7-12 days. I even paid for express shipping. It is 5/19 and my item is still at Shenzhen processing center. I have emailed company to no avail and there is no customer service number that exists. I will never order anything from buya again!!

They are fair value of any items. Customer friendly and considerate when buying, selling or pawning.

Tool purchased states "Very good condition". Upon receipt tool was found to be not in very good condition, but was in poor condition with damage to the sole plate excessive soiling, build up of saw dust and much staining and marring of tool motor housing.

Doesn't Refund back

I was looking for a reciprocating saw online and a seller pooped up. The price was good, not too cheap for used tools. I paid for the saw and waited to receive it. However, after 5 days there was no indication of shipping it. I called the shop which is Hollywood Pawn and Jewelry in California, they claimed that all used saws are sold and remained only new one for almost double the price which was higher than Ebay. I felt something fishy so i refused to pay more and asked for refund. The guy advised to cancel the order and ask buya.com for refund as they did not ship it. I did as he said and contacted buya.com immediately answered the only guy that answers everytime as if he is the only staff tgere. His name is Mikel or Mikal with heavy Indian accent and after several attempts to send me back to the company saying they are not irresponsible of any refund that the shop is supposed to pay back, he agreed at the end that they are responsible of the refund and promised to pay back within 5 to 10 working days. After 15 working days I called them and he answered me and without asking about details or my name he said they are not responsible of any refund. When I reminded him of the conversation between us he kept saying the same lie tgat they are not responsible of any refund. I asked him why did you promise to refund when your policy not to do if it is true? He kept saying the same thing like robot.
I promised him to report them to every authority and expose them publicly.
They are just punch of thieves.

I called Buya 3 different times and finally after the the third call, it was finally acknowledged by them that my personal Buya account got hacked. The first time I called, I talked to a Buya Representative for at least 20 to 25 minutes, if not longer about my Buya account being hacked. I shared personal information with him that nobody knows other than me, that is relevant to this situation or case. Some of the personal information that I shared with this specific Buya representative should have alarmed and also frightened him enough that my Buya account should have been deleted immediately. But it wasn't. I called back 2 more times and then after talking to a 3rd Buya representative, it was actually acknowledged that my Buya account was hacked. I was finally told in an email that it was removed. But, it wasn't removed or deleted again. I was lied too. The account still exists. I called up and reported this to another Buya representative. But they don't care. Buya is just like everyone else. But Buya themselves got hacked too obviously, not just myself. I don't think they understand that. Buya is NOT safe. It is obviously NOT safe to have a Buya account and they don't care if you get hacked. They have the audacity to lie to you and they don't care. It's bad enough obviously that your own Buya account got hacked, but for Buya to lie to you afterwards is really horrible. That first Buya representative that I talked to, should be fired immediately. Because after I gave him personal information relevant to this particular situation or case, that is so scary and also frightening, he should have jumped out of his chair and ran for help to permanently delete or remove my account. But he didn't and for that he should be fired immediately. There is has to be consequences for people who don't do their job. This is actually a lot more serious than you think. This specific Buya account, I'm referring to, is connected with illegal or unlawful hacking that occured for about 2 years that destroyed my life. That's one reason why it's a big deal for myself and that first specific Buya representative I talked to the other day definitely knew this. I know who hacked this Buya account that is connected with about 2 years of illegal hacking that destroyed my life. But again to reiterate, Buya doesn't care. Buya is Scum!!!!! They will lie to you, even in an email. Shop somewhere else, where it's safe for you. Buya Sucks!!!!!

I bought a ESP Eclipse off of this website for $800. Turns out It was a fake and most of the pawn shops on don't allow returns. This is a terrible site don't use it please.

I purchased two M18 Milwaukee 2v batteries and neither work. I will not purchase anything else through Buya as their is no protection from fraud or avenue to push for a refund.

Seller offer a make offer on an item he had listed to sell for $29.99. I made an offer of $25.00. He made a counter offer of $29.98 and stated this was the best he could do. I thanked him for wasting my time.

Bought a beats pill that said works. When I got it, it didn't work and was really beat up. Tried to return thru buya they said I had to go thru the pawn shop, pawn shop said I had to return thru buya. What a nightmare and loss of money l.

I ordered a 7" Digital prism TV thru Buya.com from Loan Star Pawn in Florida. After unboxing, I found no wall power supply, and unit had no battery. The ad said "all original accessories included" "no remote control included" I was OK with no remote but needed the other things that were not disclosed as missing. I would have had to pay about $30.00 in shipping ( both ways) to return. I just ordered the missing parts from Ebay. VERY unhappy, don't buy from these crooks! Rating: 0

I made a purchased after a week I received a notice the item I had purchased was misspriced, then I had to called to four different times to get my refund

There is no way to contact buya to ask for help when some pawn shop dosent send the item you purchased so im not sure what their purpose really is. 5 emails and all ive gotten from the pawn shop i purchased from is …these things work themselves out.
