AVOID THEM!

Obviously an indecent practice they are doing.
Beside your online purchase they hide a subscription in small letters, and from then on they deduct money every month until you notice it. Of course they reject to refund, and despite several complaints they maintain this practice, it is therefore intentional.

Thanks to the many people complaining the Danish Consumer Ombudsman in Nov 2020 has sued them (Buuks.dk and 2 other sites by the same people) demanding to repay all of these "subscriptions" 3 years back.

Just like everyone here says, an automatic subscription fee of 89kr per month was done when I bought a book from here. Totally illegal. There was no notification that this was being done when one purchases. I had to go through my statement, login to the website and find out this was happening. THEY SAVE THE CARD without approval!! THIS IS ILLEGAL.

A horrible, company taking advantage of people during a crisis. Their automatic membership payments should be illegal.

They have bad customer service, showing unwillingness to cooperate and find a solution.
Good employees that will try to help, but the company is broke.
Also, don't fall for their prices. They force you to pay membership and that money will never be returned.

The book i got was assembled incorrectly. Its starts with chapter 4 and the beginning of the book is located in the center. Very not impressed.

buuks.dk have during two years withdrawn subscription fee dkk 89 every month WITHOUT any clear indication at the time of purchase, let alone ANY indications, offers through emails, whatsoever, ever since. Deliberate deception which has also lead the consumer ombudsman to report buuks.dk to the police, however, bucks.dk don鈥檛 care and do not intend to credit anything.
Update 9/11-20: Still no crediting from buuks.dk in spite of the consumer ombudsman again having requested legal prosecutions.

This is a scam or a fraud. They will take 129kr from you every month like a subscription without you knowing. Its is called "Smurfing" and they hope you do not discover this small amount drawn from you account in eternity. We must all stop this company!

I found out they are charging my subscription for 6 months without sending a single receipt.

When purchasing on this website, you unknowingly subscribe to their membership program for 89dkk per month. The checkbox is already enabled and no clear confirmation is given to you. No subsequent invoices are sent. We only found out by checking our bank account 6 months later.
The customer service refused to reimburse these fees (obviously) arguing that the website does mention this scheme when you enter it the first time, but you will dismiss the popup as another "Cookie policy" window.
Absolute scam, borderline illegal, as exemplified by all the negative reviews on this website.

Very supportive & encouraging staff. Beginner like me needed lots of guidances & I was patiently guided by Prasad Bhai, Panneer Bhai & Jayalakshmiji. They have a very good team of editors which helped me to present my book in a more beautiful way.
They deserve a five star, one star less for improvement whatever and wherever they want to make in future. Because I don't how everything is working in the publishing company's,everywhere there is competition and improvement is needed everywhere and in everyone's life to live a better life. I mean in personal life too.

Absolutely disgusting.

They sign you up for a "membership" where they charge you monthly WITHOUT warning, and without giving you any information on this, if you simply buy a book from them. Shameless exploitation of customers. Never do business with these vultures.
