Dreadful experience. Ordered fuel without any problems but on day of delivery, they failed to arrive with the required 鈥榣ong hose鈥?which I had explicitly advised them they would need. The drivers excuse was that it was once a long hose but they have to cut bits off now and then when it gets snagged and that the depot don鈥檛 want to pay for replacement. Driver said he might be able to get it delivered if my neighbour moved her car. The poor neighbour didn鈥檛 have the keys as her son had gone to work with them. Driver then stalked off without even trying the supposedly long hose he had brought.

Utterly ridiculous. Left me in the lurch and head office failed to see the point. Why bother asking if the customer has any particular order requirements if they can鈥檛 be bothered to act. Cancelled my account completely and would never use them again.

Ridiculous! Avoid on all cost!

I place my order, arranged the delivery and on the day of the delivery, I called 2 times during the day and on the 3rd time at 16:50 they told me they cancelled my delivery because the driver couldn't access, a big fat lie! Because I was home the whole day waiting and talking to my neighbours and not even a sign of the truck or the driver!
I will not use them again, I will use someone else!

I ordered heating oil through The Heating Oil Club 2 days ago, leaving a comment that I was about to run out of fuel.
Butler Fuels delivered today.
I'm extremely impressed with their speedy delivery.

I placed an order for 1300 litres of heating oil online on the 8th March 2018. The screen showed the order was successful and stated that an email would be sent with a confirmation shortly. Hours later and with no confirmation email, I phoned Butler fuels who assured me that they were just experiencing a lot of traffic on their website and that the email would probably come through overnight. The next day I still had no confirmation and phoned again – this time they told me that the order was received and would be delivered by the 22nd March and said that they would send me an invoice/confirmation by email. This was never received. I have emailed them and phoned them on multiple occasions but have yet to receive the mythical confirmation email so right now they have a large sum of money and I have nothing to show for it whatsoever. Today (20th March) I called again and was given a number for head office to call. I have tried ringing several times this morning but there is no answer.

I will never use Butler fuels again – it appears that their website is full of bugs, their customer service team don't care, and will fob their customers off with lies or useless contact numbers. To take such large sums of money from people and offer absolutely nothing to reassure them that their order has even been received is simply unacceptable.

All in all, a very stressful and frustrating experience…

I am 拢163.00 in credit. I wish to reduce my monthly payment to 拢10.00 as have enough oil to keep me going through winter.
I have replied to invoice email to request above but had auto response to say mail box not managed
My husband has called to try and request above – he thought this had been done but there is a message on my voicemail asking me to contact the accounts team.
I have phoned the accounts team twice today with above request and left message with Charlie but my messages from accounts team have have not been returned. I have waited in for 3 hours for this call

Not very happy with this service. Always paid my account on time. Never been in arrears. I am actually in credit. Level of customer service very poor

I have emailed the company to investigate poor service and to call to confirm resoved
