We honestly ended up having a horrible experience with Bus.com. We had booked a coach bus to take our university group to and from a conference in Toronto from Ottawa. The morning we were leaving (booked to leave by 6am), our bus never showed up. We spent hours on the phone with the service trying to find out where our bus was. They never actually knew why our bus didn't show as they didn't have contact info for the bus driver. We were sent another bus (smaller than the one we booked, while we still had our full group with all our luggage) over five hours later than we were originally supposed to leave. Becuase of this we missed the first day of our conference and one student actually had to book a last minute expense flight to Toronto to make it in time for an important meeting. A couple days later when we were returning our bus was on time this time however the bus driver was only given one of our stops instead of the two we had. This caused about half our students to have to find alternative methods to get home late at night with all their luggage, many having to take Uber.
Following all this we were in contact with the manager we booked with, who told us he was working to get us a form of reimbursement for all the problems occurred (especially since we paid for a larger coach bus than what we actually received). After not hearing back for over a week we contact him again with no reply. We have tried reaching out to him multiple times for an update on the situation but at this point we have not heard anything back in almost 2 months. I am very disappointed in this service and at this point would never suggest anyone use this company for transportation. It is one thing for things to go wrong during our trip but the fact that we are not receiving any replies to help compensate for the problems is horrible service.

Rented from them. Everything seemed great until two months after my rental, I get a bill from them for overages that I owe. It was for us using the bus longer than the allotted time, but we just literally got on the bus and the driver took us to our destination which we had no control over the the duration of how long it鈥檒l take. It still got us to and from the place so I still give 3 stars. But to charge us for something that we had no control over, like how do we even plan for that?

The Driver was extremely friendly as was on time and was an excellent driver. We had a very safe trip and I truly recommend
Bus.com to anyone who has a large group of people to attend an
event.

We hired this company for our wedding, and it was a horrendous experience. Bus picked up the guests from the hotel to wedding venue, many guests told me he was rude and abrasive when they boarded. He even left 10-15 minutes late from hotel, only after people stated they were running late. Driver told everyone be ready at 10PM for pickup, guests advised him reception ends at 11, and that is what the contract stated. Once again he seemed agitated.
At 10 PM he arrived, at 1038 he took off and left leaving all guests stranded. Our wedding guests had to wait in the cold (30 degree weather for 15 minutes) for Uber rides (as venue closed) and my wife was in tears. We had to cancel our send off as we couldn鈥檛 leave our guests stranded. After we ensured all our guests had departed, rather than take a limo as planned, we took a cigarette smelling Car Service, because that was all that was available at that time, our wedding was at a farm in Ohio.
When I called to complain I got a hold of a manager, he informed me there are cameras on the bus, and the driver stated someone went in the bus and told the driver to leave. As ludicrous as that sounds, I challenged him to go view the security footage, and needless to say he never had the decency to call me back.
All this is documented and I can prove it via email. I never even received a apology from ANYONE in this organization, rather I did receive 75 dollar credit towards any future bus rental.

I had booked with bus.com for transportation of a friends birthday to downtown Toronto. When i had booked my trip i made a special request to have an auxiliary cord on board, as this was a key component to our trip. I had made sure to call multiple times prior to my booking date to confirm that our bus would have the auxiliary and they had ensured me that there was nothing to worry about and that we would have that on board with us. Having said this the day came and our bus did have the auxiliary cord however it did not work. Making the one request i had not possible. After the fact i had called to complain about this and they had told me there was nothing they could do and a specialist would reach out to me asap. I had waited a week and still no phone call, so i called back and they said the same thing. They had sent me an email where they informed me that my credit card would be charged due to my pick up location change (which is fine because they had told me prior.) but i did find it infuriating that they had emailed back so quickly about charging my card but when it was about my complaint it was almost a week and a half and i have still not received a call back. After all of this they then went on to accuse my group of damages to their bus, when i have asked for proof of it being us because i know for a fact that it was not my group, they said they didn't have but they were going to go ahead and continue to charge us for the damages. Overall my experience with them was terrible. I highly recommend spending a few hundred dollars extra and book with a different company. Never have i ever received such bad customer service where they accuse and take advantage of people.

I am an event coordinator, and we used Bus.com for our fundraiser. It was a terrible experience, as the bus drivers were an hour late, they didn't know the route (despite giving detailed maps and directions to my Bus.com representative), they pulled up in the wrong areas instead of the bus stops, and when I tried to call the company for help, they gave me 2 phone numbers that didn't work, and 1 number that did work, but that employee couldn't do anything to help because they had no way of communicating with the actual bus drivers. It was a very stressful and unprofessional experience, and it reflects badly on the event from the perspective of all our participants. We even had to have our event volunteers shuttling our participants because the buses weren't showing up!

When I tried to explain what happened to Bus.com representatives after the event, they said they would "compensate" me for the inconvenience by giving me a $100 voucher for my next booking… I spent over $2,300 on their service and their idea of "making it better" was a $100 voucher for a service that I will never use again because it was so unreliable. I normally don't write reviews, but this experience was so bad that I feel the need to warn anyone else who is an Event Coordinator to not rely on Bus.com for service. They are just a third party company that has very little communication with the bus fleet they send you. Very disappointing.

All around such an incredible experience from the start to the finish! All of the reps we spoke to were professional and so helpful and this all ran so smooth. I had so much to coordinate for our company meeting and knowing that this was aspect of the meeting was in good hands gave me such a relief and honestly we will be using this over and over now for all of our company functions.

Bus.com was great to work with for my conference event in Durham, NC. The virtual team was very helpful at locking down all the details for our numerous, concurrent bus trips, and communicating those to the local partner. They also helped with several late in the game changes, and a quick add-on bus. The local partner they worked with was also great! The drivers were friendly, early, and very communicative. The buses were a little dated, but in a fun, retro way. Would definitely use again!

I used bus.com for two trips. The first one went great!!! The second was not great. The bus had no toilet paper, the driver didn鈥檛 know the best route, my itinerary was not followed and everyone had to get dressed on the bus (parked on a nyc street). The company can鈥檛 take the time to call and apologize, just sends some very formatted e-mails. Very disappointed as up till then my experience had been great.
