Bunnik Tours

Some of the hotels were a little "tired".
The bus seats were not particularly spacious or comfortable.
The meals in the local villages were good, however I suggest that the price of the meals be included in the tour cost.
Our tour guide (Priya), bus driver (Marcus) and assistant (Upul) were very good. Priya went out of his way to support the tour group when they needed ATMs and particularly to finding pharmacies when they became ill.
The itinerary was comprehensive and included all of the major attractions.
The hotel meals were good and had a lot of variety.
Overall we enjoyed the tour and would recommend it and Bunniks to other people.

All 14 of us on the 'Colours of Rajasthan' 11/3 were extremely disappointed that our trip had to be aborted. However we do understand why this was necessary.
We had only travelled from Delhi to Jaipur when the Indian government said that all foreigners had to leave the country within 24 hours due to the Coronavirus so after finding out we travelled back to Delhi, spent one night there and the next morning flew back to Australia. What a bummer!
We had a great group who bonded well in the 5 days we were together.
Our guide Yogendra (Yogi) was pretty average and we were unsure whether he handled the tipping properly He asked us to put money in 2 envelopes to give to the driver and the assistant.That surely was covered by the amount we all paid in the cost of the trip. I also wonder how much all the other guides and porters were given.
Anyway we appreciated the way Bunnik was able to arrange the return flights.
It's a pity we couldn't have returned to Delhi via Agra.
We're all doing our 14 day self isolation now, probably planning our next trip.
Who knows when and if there will be any trips for a while.
We're staying safe and secure right now.

I would like to thank Bunnik for keeping us up to date with travel arrangements for our tour to Egypt, Israel & Jordan leaving 23 March. Each day we were updated with information as it was given to Bunnik and unfortunately the trip was cancelled 12 days out.
They asked for our account details and within 2 days the refund was back into our account…well done Bunniks. We will be booking again when things settle and we wish you all the best for the coming months to cope with all the changes.

Carlos was fantastic, kept the group on track and entertained. Local guides were exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly and had excellent language skills.

On the who;e I thoroughly enjoyed the tour but for this review I have grouped it into two parts.
Positives: Great tour directors in both Italy and Malta, but the tour director for Italy was the best.
Enjoyed and loved all the places we visited and found the guides knowledgeable and friendly
Small group – only 16.
Room in the coach.
Negatives: We didnt have a lot of free time. It was all used up on running around looking for lunch or dinner.
Accommodation – for the cost of the tour I would have expected much better accommodation. I shared a room and our room in ROme was so small we couldnt pass each other in the main part of the room as there was not enough space. Some hotels were not very close to the city/town centre. I must admit I was disappointed.
Also, I had dietary requirements and most hotels did not cater for these resulting in my getting little or nothing for breakfast.
Other: The amount of days of the tour should not include the days flying over and leaving, as it is misleading.

Great trip. Some issues with some members of the group being negative to guide. Managed well by guide.

Excellent tour leader who handled unforeseen events very professionally and efficiently. Exciting and very varied tour of historical sights, stunning scenery and a fascinating insight into Ethiopia鈥檚 social history. Accommodation was the best available. Included food was plentiful and varied. Vehicles used in some areas could perhaps have been better maintained, but adequate given the state of the roads. Thank you Bunnik!

2 of us booked on tour to Egypt. Tour group size was 11 This group had toured Jourdan and had formed their friendship groups. Whilst we are good mixers, the fact that they had cemented their relationships was obvious. This also meant that decisions were taken a la 鈥済roup leader鈥?of the Jordan group.
Bunnik should have given us the option of joining this group.
I will not travel with Bunnik again even though the tour content was excellyas was the Egyptologist.

This is the eighth Bunnik Tour.
Everything went smoothly from first contact to tours end.

Great holiday, would trust Bunnik again. We liked the smaller group sizes.
Tour guides were a little "over informative". Egypt Air were pathetic as they couldn't seat MOST couples, including us together. Can't understand why. (we had the same surname!) Being accommodated on the cruise ship while sandwiched together in dock, was frustrating.
Over all the standard of accommodation was great and the experience was fantastic.

The tour was good. We booked it during an expo in Perth. What your company and flight centre did not tell us about the rules of flying there as we were leaving from London for the tour. In the end we did land only which cost us more which we found could have been avoided.
. Other than that the Eygpt tour was great mainly due to the guide and fellow travellers.

Loved our trip with Bunnik it was fabulous great people great guides! Thoroughly enjoyed every minute!!

We found all aspects of our trip to be of a high standard from the accommodation,meals transport and especially our guides who were so informative helpful but also fun.Yazan our guide in Jordan was terrific-passionate about his job,his country,and wanted to impart this to us.We hope to travel with Bunniks again this year.

We have travelled twice with Bunniks now, firstly in 2017 to South America and in 2019 to Vietnam. Each tour was well planned, had excellent tour guides, well credentialed to give deep insights into the countries visited. The small groups we travelled with were like-minded and this made the tours special as we鈥檝e made new friends. Bunniks take care of every detail of our travels and ensured our safety and well being were paramount. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

This was my third trip with Bunniks and the tour met my expectations and the small numbers is definitely a bonus as it gives everyone time to get to know one another and makes moving around easier. The tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and nothing was too much bother.

Very knowledgeable & friendly guide. Interesting & varied itinerary. Comfortable hotels, especially in smaller towns. Friendly small group of travellers.

Our guide was not the best. He got things done at the last minute, fudged the Russian folk show so we missed it. Walked too fast and almost lost people. Didn't pay a lot of attention to people. It was hard work. Added things that made days longer that was exhausting. Previous Bunnik tours were brilliant. He got the job done but not the standard we had been used to. It was just a job. He arrived late and was disorganised though a pleasant fellow he just didn't get it.
Way too many cathedrals and palaces. Missed time in the towns or art galleries, other attractions that would have been interesting. I'm never going into another church. However he did know his history.

I had the most wonderful time on my Bunnicks tour. Elena, tour director on my tour from Moscow to Prague was the best director/guide I have had and would recommend Bunnicks tours to single travellers like myself for the ease and expertise experienced on the tour. Nothing was too difficult (including having my camera fixed in Moscow and finding a doctor in Krakow).

An excellent tour guide in Monica Lee. A lovely lady and very professional.

A first class coach and driver but the tinted windows meant I didn't take many photos while travelling in the bus, as I normally do. Also, the driver left the interior lights on at night which further spoiled any photo chances. Small things, but you did ask.

An extra night in Busan would have been preferable to the one night stay at Muju. No big deal though.

Wonderfully organised tour – great accommodation, tour guide and transportation. Nothing was a problem- would certainly tour with Bunnik again

We had a great time on the Northern Italy & a cruise down the Croatian coast… The scenery and the excursions were excellent.
Bunnik Tours were fantastic.
The Tour Director on the bus portion was the best we've come across….very well organised!
We certainly will do more Bunnik Tours in the future….

Loved the tour of Northern Italy, Slovenia & the Croatian Coast. It had so many interesting aspects with the food of Nth Italy, the scenery of the Dolomites, Venice, Slovenia & finally the Pitiviche Lakes & finishing with the cruise down the Croatian coast to Dubrovnik.

We had a great group of happy travellers who mixed well & looked out for each other. along with the best guide. Andrej is a real treasure. He had such a depth of knowledge of Italy & Slovenia (perhaps more quiet time on the coach!?) & it was sad to say goodbye, at the wharf, to him & our amazing bus driver, Darko. Wow he got us out of some really tight spots in that full size coach!)

On the whole the accommodation was good but we would suggest more attention to asking hotels to provide good pillows for the guests comfort. We had some shockers especially in Italy. Several of our group had problems with leaking air conditioners in Italy also.

The cruise was the perfect finale with swimming off the back of the boat in the Windex blue waters of the Adriatic & visiting interesting ports with so much history each day. The food was good but perhaps a smaller midday meal would be more appropriate. Cabins were comfortable & of reasonable size but the storage space for clothes & luggage could鈥檝e been better.

We would highly recommend this tour.

The tour was very good but the main guide his English was poor and he was not proactive.

My Bunniks Tour to Spain Portugal and Morocco will be a hard act to follow. Just the right balance of culture, history, architecture and free time. Excellent guides and drivers. Handy accomodation locations. Places I would never have otherwise seen and experiences I would have missed if I鈥檇 gone alone.
