We bought a computer at WalMart. We brought it home. It was an all in one. The second day I was trying to get everything set up. I clicked on a screen saver for Microsoft and all of a sudden alarm bells started ringing. Then a woman鈥檚 voice started saying your locked out don鈥檛 touch your computer you are locked out. Then a phone number popped up and the lady said call this number. We were 100 percent locked out. When I called the number an Asian gentleman answered the phone but I could not understand him. My husband took the phone and a different guy came on and said it would cost 999.99 to unlock the computer. He said that our IP address was corrupted and only they could unlock our computer when my husband said it was too much money. Then they said 499.99. and then 399.99. We were going to do it but my husband talked to my son and he said they could be scammers. The thing was we had already given our credit card number. It was dumb for us to not catch on because the computer was brand new.
