DON鈥橳 BUY FROM BULLION MART!!!
First, I began by e-transferring money, which I had to do in a course of a couple days because it exceeded the max transfer amount. After the first max transfer they contacted me to say I needed to pay full amount or they will increase the amount owing because the metal price may increase, yet the metal decreased and they didn鈥檛 lower the price.
Second, they had free shipping over $1000, I was way over that amount and didn鈥檛 honour that, I paid for shipping.
Third, after paying my complete balance they still said I owed more. I called them and made the person check, 鈥渙h I see it now, it must have been lost. Okay, we鈥檒l ship out tomorrow. Tomorrow came and gone, I waited 2 days contacted them again via phone call and they said, 鈥渋t will be delivered today or tomorrow.鈥?Two more days and called them again explaining I didn鈥檛 appreciate the BS and want to know what鈥檚 happening? 鈥淚t will be sent out tomorrow for sure.鈥?Which it finally did.
Fourth and worst, they state deliveries are to be signed when delivered and Canada Post, whom they use, left the package at my door and left. No notice left to pick up at post office. Well, the package was not there it was taken. I had to file a claim with CP and with bullionmart. Nothing positive from BM, I received more sympathy from CP. BM states once it leaves them it鈥檚 not their fault i receive the package or not. I asked 3x鈥檚 BM for a copy of the insurance they supposedly buy for the delivery and they did not supply it.
After doing a lot of leg work and my own private investigation I found who took it and had to negotiate and pay for my items. The items were damaged.
PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM BULLION MART

Good response time and courteous. Delivery was easy to track except at the end which made things a bit difficult for me, but that is not Bullion Mart's fault.Overall good experience

Have been fine with BM's service, until this last time. Due to Covid-19 concern, my husband went in your office alone to pick up items that we ordered online. You suddenly asked him for additional surcharge of $40 for cash payment. We called your office before heading to store and you requested us to e-transfer deposit to secure the purchase (which we did), but you said absolutely nothing about such surcharge on the phone. You left him no choice but to pay in order to pick up. This surcharge was not even reflected on the final invoice. Any professional and honest business would make sure to address to customers clearly in advance shall any surcharge is required.

i purchased close to $50,000 worth of product from these people

as someone that is new to purchasing precious metals, i looked to these people to provide me with honest advice and honest answers to my questions

it was only an hour after leaving the store when my friend pointed out to me that i鈥檇 paid way above market value for the gold bars and silver coins that i had just purchased

when i questioned them about this, i was told that because i had not caught them charging me more then what we had verbally agreed to, that it was my responsibility

if you are dealing with these people, check and double check everything they say and do to ensure they don鈥檛 slip one by you

i should not have been so trusting.

lesson learned.

The prices advertised on the website are a bit of a mess. In several instances they are not reliable.

With gold prices moving quickly at times, one needs to have reliable pricing that can be locked in and honoured by management.

If one reads this company's terms of use, you can see for yourself that they "reserve the right" to cancel any order at any time, even if that order has already been paid for.

That means the prices you see online can't really be relied upon.

I placed an order online which I already paid them $87.87 for but apparently they made a pricing error and wouldn't honour the sale. And for whatever reason, refunding the money would be a hassle so they asked me if I wanted to put my money towards another item.

I obliged and compromised. The gold coin closest in price to $87.87 was the 0.5 gram rabbit, which they originally listed on their site as $99.95. Notice that's only a $12 difference and yet they still hassled me on the price! They wanted another $20, which would have put the cost to me at $107.87 which would have been above their listed price online!

Notice that the listed price of this 0.5 gram gold rabbit coin is now $122.

In another instance, they listed a Mexican gold cinco peso for $300 which prompted me to drive all the way down to their store for it. And it turns out it's all for naught.

Honestly, you'll be better off going to canadianpmx. Much more professional and reliable.

My response to the reply: So now you're claiming that the item is valued at $4000?!?! That's just a straight out lie. The item is the 3 coin capitol visitor center commemorative set and in the store you told me it's $900 and now you've updated the price online to $900. So where did this magical $4000 come from?

Stop lying. I have your original invoice.

For anyone reading this review, you can easily check that price online and I have their original invoice.

Ok so how about this, are your online prices accurate and reliable now?

With this latest lie from their response, I've decided to change my rating from 2 star to 1 star.

Online order and same week delivery in GTA. Compared to similar sites bullionmart has a better selection of coins and bars. Easy online interface with multiple purchase order updates. Purchased gold maple leaf coin. Easy for new buyers and access to volume purchases.

I was somewhat skeptical at first. I saw the money drain from my account but no Email . However a phone call came and we found the order and I was told it had been shipped. I received my shipment today as described. In all I'm very pleased with the serviced.
