Quite impressed with them so far. Smooth transition from Scottish Power. They have a fair single tariff for all customers which makes things transparent and not overly complicated. The app needs some work…I can submit meter readings online but not on the app but on saying that I am a new customer. 拢50 is credited to account of existing user who refers them to new customer who then gets 拢50 credited in turn to his or her account once switch is complete.

Found Bulb Energy to have very competitive unit prices when compared to my previous provider.This, and the impressive customer service reviews made me switch added to the fact the energy is from a renewable supplier. recently switched to Bulb and it couldn't have been easier – they did all the work and kept us up to date on the process with pleasant and friendly emails. Haven't had any cause to contact their customer services but I'm sure they would be a lot more pleasant and helpful than the big companies who really don't care. I would gladly recommend Bulb if you're thinking of switching. Their tariff is variable but there is no exit fee so you can switch at any time with no fee to pay. Keep up the good work Bulb!

I've been very pleased with Bulb Energy so far, just switched recently as I wanted to be a bit greener and environmentally friendly. The change over has been very easy and seamless, their communications and switching process is very straight-forward.

They have quoted me a price which was the same as the monthly payments I was making already with my last energy provider, so I though why not switch!

I even got a credit of 拢50 on my account straight off as I had used someone's link from one of these reviews, and the other person got 拢50 credit on their account too, nice bonus!

And now with my extra 拢50 credit I've been able to reduce my monthly payments even more.

Hi, recently joined a green energy company. Phoned them to get information and to get a feel for their efficiency and organisation, they answered the call promptly, not used to this with other providers. The on-line switch was very straightforward and surprisingly quick. The employee I spoke with even offered to wait while I went through the process, I didn't need him but it was a nice touch to offer assistance in this way. Started about 30th May and the switch has taken approx. 3 weeks. They often kept me updated as the switch progressed during this period. No snags so far and hope it continues this way. I feel we need to shake up the big boys monopoly, and companies like Bulb will hopefully do so by being competitively priced. If you want to use my referral code so that we both are rewarded with 拢50 this is it.

I have been with this company for a few months now and up to now cannot fault them. The switch over was a dream not like previous well known suppliers I have used. I would not normally give 5 stars but in this case I think it is justified. Keep up the good work Bulb energy.

WORD OF WARNING – THIS IS A VARIABLE RATE I understand BULB have announced rate rises in August. My thoughts are all the other companies are doing so, so unless you get a long term fixed rate (which you will pay more for in the short term) at a good rate (doubt it), you may as well go with BULB as you can switch when the fixed rates become more attractive with no charge. .

So far so good to switching to BULB only regret is not using the refer a friend option when setting this up. It is 100% not a con the company clearly want to grow and offer a 拢50 credit if you sign up using a friends link. Just google.

IT STATES that both you and your friends account will receive the credit 3 weeks after you switch..

They show up as cheap on comparison websites compared to the big five, but turn out to be more expensive in the end. Their algorithms over-estimate meter readings, and do not adjust to readings provided, usually altogether ignoring customer-provided readings. It seems like they're trying to get a cheap loan from you by forcing you to increase the Direct Debit amounts. But even with the over-estimation, maybe, removed from the equations, they still turn out to be expensive. I used to have bills of maybe 拢45/month with one of the big five, and with Bulb that raised to 拢60/month.
