Deniately one to avoid.
I employed them for a flat refurbishment which was supposed to take 3 weeks. I even allowed 2 of their men to stay at the property in the hope that the job will get done faster. What I got in fact was the absolute opposite as they used my property as a launch pad to go and work on their other projects. After 6 weeks and an estimated loss of around 5k in rental income the project was nowhere near complete.

As far as the work is concerned I'd say its about average. Sebastian himself is quite skillful but most of the work was done by youngsters learning the trade in his absence (and there was a lot of absences)

They play games with the client and have real trust issues.
And the lies and promises of getting some work done were endless, frustrating and depressing.

Agnes and Sebasian Demus kept insisting on payments before contractual payment stages were complete and clearly had no intent to keep to the contract they signed.

In case there is any confusion with companies of a similar name, Building Tiger is a trading name used by Sebastian and Agnes Demus.

I employed Building Tiger through the MyBuilder website to do a flat refurbishment. While some work was OK, the remainder was so poor that I had to tell them to leave. The work was inspected by two builders and two electricians. I received comments such as, "I thought you only saw stuff like this on those TV programmes." Needless to say I had to pay for much of the work to be re-done and, in the case of the electrics, made safe.

I took Building Tiger to the small claims court and they now have a CCJ against them. They haven't returned my money and have since disappeared. They have, however, created a new website – I cannot specify it as it contravenes Trust Pilot's guidelines – but it comprises the company's name. Amusingly they have used some of the positive reviews from MyBuilder as evidence of their work. Don't be fooled. If you look then you'll see that their overall rating is 75%, after a raft of negative reviews.

Definitely one to avoid – there are plenty of proper tradesmen/tradeswomen out there.
