Please try to avoid Budget Air at any cost. I cancelled my flight last year and it has been over 13 months and still have not received my refund, I was informed that the redund was processed (pre-Covid), yet no refund. The contact is lousy and disgusting. Anytime that an email is sent to them, the response from Budget Air is an automated response.
PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND PRECIOUS TIME!

I'm waiting for my refund since April. I wrote to the CEO and the customer service many times but had no success. They keep on saying the airlines needs to refund them first…the fact is that my friends have already been refunded and they were travelling with us. I suggest everybody travelling from/to or within Europe to submit an official claim to the European Commission.
If many of us is going to submit an official claim, maybe, someone will notice the abuse and take some actions…

Airline paid budgetair ticket price back with proof due to coronavirus, But budgetair still hold it for almost half year and don't pay me back, I even called my bank to investigate it, they reply me that budgetair doesn't want to pay me, I have to contact them, but budgetair never pick my phone. budgetair belongs to Travix and this company bought by Chinese company called Ctrip, Chinese is 鎼虹▼. Don't use this Chinese companies service too.

FRAUD- DISASTER COMPANY AND CUSTOMER CARE
They told me that they refunded but after 30 days no money is back. Horrible experience . never again. money lost . unfortunately they do not answer to any of their telephone number and do not reply to emails. incredible.

Poor service. There is no possibility to contact customer support. Our fights were cancelled due to Covid-19 and over 3 months we were trying to contact BudgetAir.it. We got only automatic replies not explaing clearly if we will get refund and when. We got back money only because we asked bank for charge back (there was no service and bank checked that-they also had no reply from BudgetAir). I will never book my flights with BudgetAir again. Really bad experience. Deffinitely I don't recomend it.

No reply for my refund due to Covid19, just automatic reply without any real interaction. In this way is great to do a chargeback with our bank.
I documented all emails send and received with their support including the full header with dates. Screenshots all information, all term of services and then submitted to Visa.
I raised my chargeback with Visa which as in their process, contact budgetair as well, they didn't reply and I receive my money back.
I won't trust this agency anymore, unable to provide a proper customer support who prefer to close all channel instead help the customer.
This let me understand what is the most important goal for this company.

Budget Air was a disaster. They offered me an itinerary, sent me a confirmation email, and told me to wait a day until my electronic ticket arrived. Immediately (of course), my credit card was charged. But the electronic ticket never arrived. I wrote to them; no answer. Finally, after days of waiting, I got a terse message saying that they had never secured the ticket–and that I might have to wait two weeks for a refund. I wasted days on Budget Air, while the price of my eventual ticket went up. Fortemente sconsigliato!
Update… it gets worse… now they won't refund me the entire amount I paid for the ticket that they never sent me. Caso di frode mozzafiato.

Arrived late at airport through no fault of my own. All the way there was trying to reach their so-called 鈥榰rgent phoneline鈥? They never picked up once during four stretches of twenty minutes of waiting while handling my agitated family. Of course, airport staff wouldn鈥檛 change the booking without talking to the agent. The company eventually replied (by email – still haven鈥檛 been able to speak to anyone): they refuse any refund, even partial, arguing that it was my fault their 鈥榰rgent phoneline鈥?hadn鈥檛 picked up. Yes you see, apparently calling the 鈥檜rgent phoneline鈥?is a bad idea because it gets busy – verbatim! Here鈥檚 a smart idea: if people will have to wait – while incurring expensive IDD charges – give them an estimated wait time. Duh!
The most bad faith customer service experience I have ever had.
EDIT: budgetair has just responded "our emergency line can get quite busy at times" (yeah, sorry for calling the emergency line in an emergency, I know, very silly of me right!) and "we value customer feedback such as this" (what I would value is getting fair compensation!)
EDIT: I got an email from budgetair. Clearly they are slightly embarrassed by their own inability to run a functioning customer service infrastructure, and would rather take the conversation offline. Ain't gonna happen chums! If you take my money, expect at least some payback
EDIT: the latest response from budgetair is to ask the airline for compensation. This is comedy. I can see the conversation now! "Hi ETIHAD, can you please reimburse me because budgetair don't have a functioning phone system? What? No it's not a joke! This is in fact a suggestion from budgetair! Oh!!! You mean THEY are a joke. OK!"

4 stars for the deal, but the conditions about the baggage weren鈥檛 very clear and transparent. I should have been able to add an extra luggage on the operator website after the purchase of the tickets, but apparently, with my fare, the purchase of extra-luggages is not possible. So now I don鈥檛 know exactly how to manage this situation, without losing all the advantage I got with their deal.
