L, Unable to cancel flights, receive refunds and then given the run around between 5 different representatives who after you provide your information literally hang up the phone. I bought tickets from these scammers for a flight in April 2020 which was cancelled due to covid. I have been trying to reach these thieves via email since the last 8 months. Their Australian contact number is not working. I have sent them over 25 emails asking about rebooking my flight as the airlines has allowed rebooking with existing credit. These thieves are neither responding to any emails nor planning to start the Australian helpline. Absolute scammers… will never ever book from them or any agent in future. Have learned it the hard way… Its always better to book directly with the airlines even if it costs a bit more.

I had the misfortune of using this company in July of last year. They took the money for a flight that had already been cancelled. I have contacted them on numerous occassions but each time they do nothing. What a waste of time. Avoid them at all costs! Tony.

Absolute scum. Purchased a flight with "Comprehensive Insurance or Refund Protect" + "Service package – Premium" which says "No extra charges by BudgetAir for changing & cancelling your flight"

I am unable to make my flight now due to COVID and they can't/won't cancel / change my flight. I am fighting with them now to get a refund as this is clearly covered in their refund policybut they are impossible to contact and they do not respond to emails.

Terrible experince and aweful company. Avoid at all costs.

This company is a fraud. Literally the biggest mistake I made online was to pay them money instead of buying directly from the airlines or even some other agency. They come up with new excuses to steal your money. Stay away from them.

This people collected money when flight is cancelled 9 months back still they are telling we didn't received your refund and reply same emails. Finally I contacted airlines they said we already refunded. When ask this question budgetair after that no response for mails. This people don't have customer care number also. Cheating customers and collecting money be careful. Don't prefer at all if you want face issues and mental torture go with this budgetair.

Price might be slightly cheaper but the headaches that come with it are NOT worth it! Do not go with budget air. If everything goes smooth it might not be too bad but if anything ever happens, they are extremely terrible to deal with or contact at all. I would advise not to go with them if you don't have to. I have been waiting 5 months for a refund with little to no information or responses from them.

Lost 800 over two return fliights.
They don't have phone line to accommodate customers.
They have email system but 'send button' does not work.
Never been scammed in my life until I meet this morons.

I have sent numerous emails since mid-March regarding the issue below. I have not received a single response of substance to date.

BudgetAir clearly doesn't care about assisting with this issue or even having the common decency to acknowledge it. I haven't been able to make any progress on this with you since March!

We initiated this process before any of our flights and after Westjet announced that they would loosen their refund/cancellation policy. Yet BudgetAir has ignored all my requests to date. I also initiated a cancellation quote request online on the BudgetAir website in regards to our return flight – this was not finalized or resolved.

I booked 2 return flights in Chile with BudgetAir.com. One has been cancelled and BudgetAir.com have insisted that I have to claim a refund or voucher through the airline direct. When I contacted the airline (twice) they said BudgetAir.com had to make the request. 3 emails and 5 phone calls later, BudgetAir.com will not make a request. The airline did provided me with the contact details for their support centre to travel agents and I passed this on to BudgetAir.com, but there has been no progress. Appalling service. Right now I would never use them again.

I wish i could give them minus 5star and reason is below:

My flight was cancelled and as per airline they asked me to contact agency ( in my case it is buget airway) to file refund. But customer support guy asked me to contact the airline for refund.

These budget airway people are using covid as opportunity to make fraud on people refund money.

After this pathetic service from budget airway i would never use this any more and not recommend other for the same.

Most useless booking office. The one star is because I have to rate them. They deserve nothing. Taking advantage of covid19 to robb the customers. I have been trying to call them, written them but no word from their side. When I wrote KLM, they sent me back to these thieves. Why engage these louges into booking partnership if klm can not assist. I will never use a booking agent again. Just to avoid being left in the middle of the 2 supper power travelling facilitators. (Agent and flight company)

This company literally didn't tell us the flight was cancelled, we found out for ourselves the day before departure, then will not refund me or respond to any communications. They are deliberately uncontactable too.

Hilariously, when leaving a TrustPilot review they will answer within a few hours so they look like a real company, but never ever use them, they are the literal definition of thieves.

If you took someones money walking down the street and walked off you'd get in trouble, but no this company still trades and pretends to be a real company. Horrific.

Absolute scum. This is the. co.uk version of this company. They make it impossible to get in touch with them to change your order as they have no phone number and they ignore emails. It took me 3 weeks to get a reply to my reservation query, the only problem was my flight was leaving within 2 weeks.

They don't care at all. Pure scum.

They finally refunded my money for the booking that they canceled – after weeks of waiting. And they said they will not refund booking fees!
I realized it is their strategy of earning money. They put offers out that they know in advance that they will not fulfill. Later they cancel and don't refund booking fees and you can't do anything about that. It is in their T&C. Nice business, isn't it? Why is this possible to have T&C that openly legitimize a fraud? I don't get it!

I had a few flights and they cancelled them. I am writing almost two emails every other day. The answer isn't personal. I will go to the lawyer as they need to pay me back my money as they cancelled the flights… it's better to spend a bit more money in better companies than in this one. I understand it's hard with the covid situation but a personal email or phone number to call personally is need it. I will fight until they give me my money back!

It is the MOST annoying flight booking portal! I booked my flight from Wego and a pop up from AirBudget gave me little cheaper rates so I went ahead in booking my flight with them.
I got an acknowledgment stating that I would receive my e-ticket later but that never happened! My money was wasted.
I would request Wego to not show up such scammed sites!

They dont respond to emails. I have cancelled a flight and didn't receive my refund since 5 months, was emailing them for the update they never reply to emails except a standard COVID reply. Though i have clear update from airlines that the amount has been refunded to budget air account 2 months back till now i didn't receive any refund.
Better dont prefer this company to book tickets anymore. WORST WORST WORST service.

I had flights cancelled due to COVID. The airline was quick to respond and indicated that they had to pay back to the agent. There is no way to contact Budget Air except for emails. All my emails get the standard COVID reply. More than four months later I am really not happy! Its a lot of money owed and I want to book flights again but first need a refund

Very slow refund process.

Looking at everyone elses reviews, im not the only one that didnt get a refund until 5 months later (or not got one yet)… but i booked with them twice and got refunded twice, the second time i used a credit card bank claim and i think that worked.. because i now have a full refund ๐Ÿ™‚

Couldnt get in touch with them for a long time because couldn't call them, if they arent in the office due to covid then email is the only thing you can do and they must have had a lot to deal with! its super annoying for them to have to deal with people sending lots of emails instead of waiting for a reply, as well as the customers trying to get an answer.

I had an email every month saying they were still on top of trying to get my refund from the airlines, not sure how true that was but atleast i had an update on the situation i guess.. ๐Ÿ™‚ i see a lot of bad reviews but in my case i didn't have much trouble with budgetair.

very bad experience with budgetair. My flight was cancelled, I got to know from the airlines. Budgetair not replying on phone and very delayed reply on website. Came back with a message asking me not to contact them and they will try to refund the money from the airlines. They disregarded my request to find an alternative flight. Highly recommend not to book through them.

I was booking my tickets through BudgetAir and did not receive any confirmation. But, later I had two duplicate tickets of the same flight also my account was deducted twice. I have contacted BudgetAir several times through email as they do not have any phone contacts. BUT THEY DO NOT REPLY AT ALL. Then I contacted FinnAir and they said refund must be made by BudgetAir itself. I want to cancel and refund one of the ticket but its impossible to contact them. Never book tickets from BudgetAir. FRAUD!!!!!!

I was told by email my refund for a International flight would take 15 business days and cost me $330.13. It has been 16 working days since my cancellation. I called Skyscanner who informed me over the phone, contradicting their email, that my refund could take over a month. Over $1200.

Budget Air is a complete fraudulent scam. Don't ever use this company. They do not honor their agreements. They have a computer send automatic updates from people that I am pretty sure don't exist. You can't call them. No real person will ever engage with you in any type of meaningful conversation to find solutions to your problems. Budget Air has been running from me for the better part of three months now over canceled flights due to Covid that was completely out of my control. I was not offered a refund or a voucher but rather still left completely in the dark. Every copy paste email they sent said they were working on it and that I would receive restitution for flights not honored. Now they just don't email me back. To add insult to injury this crappy company is still sending me emails trying to get me to pay for more flights. They are completely out of touch and I am out 1400 dollars. Budget Air is wack. Steer clear!
