I also contacted the flight company Turkish Airlines and they told me that they cannot change my ticket, since it was purchased via BudgetAir, which has the full responsibility to change my flight.
I see everybody is complaining about not getting the refund from BudgetAir, but it's unbelievable that they won't even change my flight when I say I don't need a refund! Horrible service!

Our friends who bought tickets to the same flight on through Budget Air received full refund including the baggage fee. They won't answer any call or emails!
I still try to contact them but it seems that they blocked my email because all the options to contact them through their site is greyed out for me.

We purchased 3 tickets and recieved booking reference via email. The purchase was made within 24 hours to the flight time, but they have never mentioned during the process that there is a possibility to not get our tickets on time however they sent me an email saying that they will send us the e-ticket "LATER TODAY". The email came on the 19th of January and our flight was 20th morning. So we went to check in the next early morning with our 1,5 year old little baby and the airways company refused to check us in saying we do not have a ticket. I tried to call BudgetAir's emergency number and when thy finally picked up the ticket the desk was already closed. But this is not their biggest mistake. After we could finally get someone to talk to us he said :"its our fault that we left for the airport without e-tickets because their company has 24 hours to issue the ticket after the purchase and we are still within 24 hours." So they simply cancelled the ticket and said they will send the money back to my account. However the money has not arrived yet and since this happened I try to get on hold of their management and aksed them to send me their terms and conditions so that my legal representative could go through it but they only repeting the same thing. Sorry we send you back the money and that the airways refused their effort to book our flights and the could not do anything. Well they could have informed us a couple of hours before the flight. So we lost 2 days of our holiday in our next destination, we had to pay taxe 3 times, extend our accomodation in the hotel we stayed and we lost our non refundable reservation on our next destination.

My friend got tickets through this website. Due to horrible accident we had to postpone the trip (he is in the hospital and it will take months, possibly over a year for his even be able to move).
First of all, no one answers their phone, no one responds to emails, finally after 2 weeks trying to contact them I got a response on their FB.
I have provided all necessary medical documentation, and was told that response will be given back after 7 working days.
It鈥檚 been over two weeks – i am still waiting for some sort of official letter.
I have been dealing with this since beginning of June!

I bought 2 air ticket for flight Bogota-Quito-Bogota – booking no. BLV-0683713.
This flight on that date (November 4, 2018) was canceled by airline TAME which informed me that there will be no flight to Quito on that day.
I informed the Budget Air about the cancellation of the flight and asked me to refund the airfare for a flight that did not exist. Only after 10 e-mails answered my mail. First I was convinced that there was a flight (I was wondering who is crazy here) and that I should go to the airport !?! In November 2018, BudgetAir understands that the flight still does not exist and informs me that it will open the case to refund my money. After 10-15 days, they informed me that they would return my money and that the case was resolved and that the new one would pay me after 15 working days.
Today is 5.Mart I DO NOT TAKE MONEY INTO TODAY !!!
I sent them 20 mails to give me an answer – THIS DOES NOT WANT TO ANSWER TO MY MAIL.

Some time ago they gave me "voucher gift" but this gift is not visible in my account (there is tab "discount vouchers"), and it is not problem that voucher is not visible – but nobody is able to say why! And nobody wants to help. I had to send over 15 emails to Skyscanner and to all BudgetAir subsidaries to get help. On top of all some guy called me at 23.30h… Crazy!!
Finally, during waiting for any answer, price of my ticket increased for 30%.
AVOID BudgetAir IN ANY CASE!!!

Write them an email, get response "sorry, it was a mix-up, it's actually 20kg." two times. I ask them to call me – they ignore my polite request.

Second – I read many bad reviews before I bought my first ticket with them about how they did not refund customers in different circumstances, so I would like to share my positive experience.
I鈥檓 from Bulgaria and there is no dedicated webpage of BudgetAir for my country, so I was redirected from BudgetAir.com to BudgetAir.lv (Latvia is country of origin of the company). Few weeks after I bought my non-refundable tickets, the airline company changed drastically their schedule (with 9 hours difference in arrival time) and the itinerary was not suitable for me anymore. So I wanted to get in touch with BudgetAir and change the flight. First I wrote them e-mail as reply to the notification for the changed schedule, but didn鈥檛 receive any answer in a day. Then I called BudgetAir and I spoke with some guy, explained the situation and explained which alternative flight I want to get from the same airline company, he promised to check if possible and call me back, but he never did. So definitely BudgetAir could improve a lot on their customer service, but they are not a scam 鈥?bear with me.
The next day I called again and I got on the phone with another lady from support called Sonia and from here on everything went smooth. The shorty story 鈥?I managed to cancel the entire flight and book a new flight with another airline from another town instead, with no cancellation fee, although my tickets were non-refundable. I got my refund about a month later (yes it takes time, but this is issue with the airline companies, not BudgetAir).
On another note 鈥?during my second booking there was some issue with their web page and I didn鈥檛 manage to use one of my cards that was giving me the best offer (Maestro), so I had to use my AmEx and I got the tickets with 50 EUR higher price. I spoke with them about that and I got these 50 EUR refunded to my card in 2 days.
So they definitely do refunds, when they are supposed to, but it might take some time – depending on the circumstances.

How would u feel if someone is not giving your 900 EUR back and simply delaying your requests.
After a long wait of 3 months, still i am not getting my money back, budget air and the airlines are blaming each other and I am the one who is suffering(it does not even look kike they are in partnership as they are bluntly blaming each other)

My current situation is that I can pay 1 and half times more that the tickets themselves to change the date or lose my 拢400 completely and buy new tickets.
I am absolutely disgusted at the customer service and policies of this 鈥楾ravel Agent鈥? I am a returning customer of Skyscanner and as they call this their agent, I booked through instead of the airline itself. The tickets were not profoundly cheaper, they were just the first on the list so I cannot see ANY benefit to the customer by booking with Budgetair.
I cannot understand how any company can risk losing forward business in the current trading environment. I will NEVER use this company again and would very strongly advise people to avoid at all costs. I have sent two emails to the customer service asking for a breakdown of cost for changing the booking. They 鈥榚ndeavour to respnd to emails within 48 hours鈥? The last one was sent 10 days ago and I have not had a response.
Shame on you Budgetair. I may have made an error on the booking page but I would not have any confidence that they would be understanding or cooperative if you had to amend your travel in an emergency. In no other industry would you hand over money and be told that you cannot have it back under any circumstances.
