I am a tea lover married to a tea lover and we drink a LOT of tea. In addition, fancy tea is my go-to gift to family & friends. In theory, this should make me a valuable customer for Bhudda Teas… I order A LOT. But, the website is broken for someone like me: every time I shop, by the time I've added a few boxes, the shopping cart will have silently erased my existing session and emptied out all the stuff I just added.
What gives, Bhudda Teas? God forbid a customer spends more than a few minutes shopping? Saving a few cents in hosting costs is more important than making a hundred plus dollars in a single sale?
The most offensive part, I did email the company twice about it in the past. Both times, my emails were ignored. No "thank you for pointing out that we have a serious shopping cart problem", no "oh no we are losing money, let's fix it asap!", no "hey, we know you are not getting paid to perform our Online Quality Control so thank you so much for taking the time to write a detailed email about this issue".
TLDR: today is the 3rd time in a year that I've attempted to place a large order only to have my shopping cart silently cleared out. It's very frustrating and a huge waste of my time. I hope someone at Bhudda Teas gets sees my review and takes action to fix their shopping software.
