Absolute joke, phone didn't arrive, apparently I refused delivery, then when I ring to make a complaint I'm told that it's been resolved and bt won't escalate my complaint to manager level, when I asked for mangers full name I am told that they are not allowed to give names. Don't waste your time or money. Just go to Vodafone!

Been with them for two years an have not experienced any issues. SIM only. I have BT Fibre and landline which means a reduced price.
My local signal is not that good but sufficient to use the service. Wifi calling is available if necessary. Dropped a star for that!
My second 12 months term is ending and I contacted them to see if I could be persuaded to stay. Spoke to a very helpful lady, call answered immediately, with whom I was able to reach a satisfactory further 12 months "deal".
As to others' experience and their issues, maybe I've been lucky? No criticism from me, so far.

my name is Sophie not Tilly btw. I can't remember the lovely ladies name that i spoke to last week but she was honestly so kind to me and her customer service skills are exceptional. I had a problem with a SIM only contract and I was stupid and never paid the bill, it got passed over to a debt collector which is my fault and I didn't realize. I called up to pay the bill off and the lady was so understand we chatted away for a while haha. I wish her all the best and thank you for making my day and solving my issue for me!

Terrible experience now, never had any problem until now as they have changed the My BT App. I have four phone contracts, Three being my children who was able to use their phones responsibly being able to see what they are using through the My BT App but now BT have changed it so for them to use the My BT App they have access to my account and can change any setting. This takes away Parental Control so they can not monitor their usage becasue they can not have the App. This is a detrimental change that changes the contract. I have asked to leave but can not without being held to contract so have contacted Ofcom and got advice to make an official complaint and go through Ombudsman if needed. Will never use BT again. How can our children learn to use their mobiles responsibly without being able to monitor usage through the App.

The ABSOLUTE worse mobile company in existence. Shocking coverage, shocking customer service and dreadful tech backup. Don't even bother thinking about going there. Find an alternative.

I just spoke to Gareth from BT mobile customer services.
I only called to upgrade. He was so nice, he reduced my bill by significant amount and he also applied free BT Sports to my account.
I am very happy to be with BT mobile 馃槉

I called BT today because my mobile service has been dreadful all day with callers being told I am unavailable, and my own outgoing calls broken off or inaudible.
I was told this is due to EE doing planned maintenance all day on a mast.
I asked for some recompense with respect to loss of the service i pay for.
The person i spoke to agreed to credit my account with 拢5.
After ending the call I received an email saying my account has been credited with half that amount!
This is small fry but that is not the point. This is a cynical way to treat clients and it isn't acceptable. I just can't wait for my contract with BT Mobile to end.

After being with O2 for over 15 years and got ripped off by them which was when found their customer service to be poor I decided to switch to bt as I already had tv, landline and broadband with them. I got a great deal and they switched my number and set everything up seamlessly. I've had excellent signal in areas my signal was poor before and I cant fault bt mobile. Their apps are easy to use in order to view bills, usage etc and I honestly cant fault bt mobile one bit. Would recommend based on my experience 100%.

Pointless – rang to order two phones which were currently up on their website only to be told that all phones with upfront costs were not available as BT Staff were working from home. Duh – why not take them off the site then dummies? Lost two 24 month contracts as a result

Signal keeps dropping out. After several calls to BT I was given a booster which seemed to work for a while and then the problem reoccurred. I contacted BT again and was advised to turn off Wi-fi on the phone as the booster and the phone were not compatible. Competing for the same signal. I turned off the Wi-fi on the phone which incidentally is an iPhone 6s however this has made no difference whatsoever. We are approx 300 metres from the microwave mast so not located in the Shetland Isles.
Frustrated in the extreme paying a premium rate for a second rate service which is not acceptable. In addition I signed up to Halo 2 service which is supposed to guarantee service 24/7 sounds wonderful however worlds are cheap. My advice would be to avoid like the virus we are currently experiencing.

Recently took out a sim only deal on BT, 拢12 a month for 10GB and unlimited calls and texts. Signal is really good, number ported over the following day, customer services are really good, and quick, some companies I have called have taken hours to pick up the phone during this covid outbreak, BT took 4 mins.
Overall I would not hesitate to recommend BT mobile, good signal, good prices and customer service great.
I have also now placed orders for broadband and home phone. Keep it up BT!

In September 2018 I took up offer of BT mobile with my BT broadband, TV and phone service. I ordered 4 sims but when I received them only 2 were able to be activated. After 45 minutes on the phone they informed me there was a fault with their system. Long story short 3 weeks later and several calls the issue was resolved. When recived my first bill they had charged me rental for the two mobile accounts when they were not working. Another phone to fight to get rental charges refunded.
After setting up the 4 SIMs I went straight into my account settings and set all the accounts to 拢0 out of contract charges and blocked premium rate/international calling.
In October 2019 I had a friendly chap from BT mobile ring me to ask if I wanted to renew my 4 mobile contracts. He offered a discount of 拢5 per month so I naturally agreed. At the end of the day I had been happy with the mobile service and coverage.
On 10/03/2020 I received an email from BT warning me that I my daughters mobile was 拢32 out of contract on data. I found this odd as I had set up the controls on all accounts, however when i logged in I saw the accounts had all defaulted back to 拢40 per month out of contract charges with permitted premium rate and international calls. I also noticed additional charges each month from November for excess data use.
I rang BT mobile and raised the issue with them. The call taker informed me that the account settings were reset in October when I took out the new contract and it was my responsibility adjust them them to how I wanted them. I pointed out that no one warned me that would happen. After spending 30 minutes on the telephone I was offered 拢10 as a good will gesture which I turned down out of principle.
BT mobile is by far the worse service I have ever experienced. I believe the changing of a customers of default settings is a deliberate attempt to rip customers off. I also believe mobile phone providers should default the settings to 拢0 and make the customer choose what they want.
Needless to say i will be removing all 4 mobiles accounts in October 2020.

Everyone鈥檚 experience differs with anything but I took the punt with BT Mobile 3 months ago and they鈥檝e been very good.
From the phone signal to customer services, can鈥檛 fault them.
As I said though, each to their own, but they鈥檙e head and shoulders above the 鈥渂ig four鈥?networks for me.

Just NO…..
Just the same as any other large business – they don't care. And it is pointless writing reviews or making complaints because they don't care…..

after being pestered by bt i agreed to have a mobile with them. I chose the phone and plan from their list. After following the instructions the phone was still showing as no service 4 days later. I spent 80 mins on the phone to the technical dept, what an interesting result. The phone was not able to connect to the wifi in the home, I do have a bt land line and broadband. The final joke is that I have to return it at my expense, what a cheek. Luckily I have re-instated my old provider and all I can say good luck if you decide to have a bt mobile.

I have to say my rating is rubbish but I am improving so when I went onto the BT mobile site on Thursday 20th Feb 2020 to see if I could get a sim only deal BT accepted me to which I was shocked and very surprised at. I got a great deal and not only that I can connect to any BT hotspot for free without using any data in my package. I say hats off to BT not only for an affordable price per month but accepting me on their network even though my credit is poor but seeing that it is inproving. Not alot of companies give you a chance but BT for me has. I would recommend BT to everyone if I could.

Same issue as previous reviewers using BT outside UK. Messaging works but unable to receive or make calls – message says I have reached my spending limit when I am nowhere near it. BT operators suggestion was to increase spending cap from 拢100 to 拢200 which made no difference. No other suggestion – the only solution seems to be find another carrier if you want to make calls while travelling.

In March 2019 I ordered a mobile phone with bt it was a good deal and took delivery of a Huawei smart P phone "GREAT"
in December the same year 2019 my phone would not charge it would work in everyway but not charge a friend of mine who works with mobile phones explained the charger in the phone had stopped working and should get it replaced through the warranty.
I rang BT and they were very good about it and made a appointment for it to be picked up the next day "Brilliant" what service I thought
I then received an Email telling me (4-5days later) saying they were very sorry but the handset could not be repaired as it had water damage and this was not covered under the warranty and they were sending me the useless phone back
(BT
"The device cannot be repaired as the cost of the repair is more than the value of the device")
I rang BT and told them that the phone had not been anywhere near water in the 9 months I had had the phone but as far as they were concerned I was lying
Now the only reason I can think why they would not repair the phone is this
a new Huawei smart P phone is around 拢120 to buy'
My friend tells me a new charging dock fitted is around 拢70 and as far as BT are concerned it would not be in there best interest to fix the phone.
Not only that when I asked them would they reimburse me the fee of getting it fixed and the fitter concurring with me that there was NO water damage THEY SAID NO so what does this tell any customer about BT and there warranties for mobile phones
DONT GO NEAR BT for a mobile.

Switched to bt mobile with extra speed (which uses and owns ee network) from sky mobile (uses O2 network). The difference is truly astonishing. With sky mobile I would on average get a download of 0.5-3.0 Mbs and 8Mbs up. In built up areas I would get nothing. No internet, it would say no connection. Not just my phone, my wife's iPhone mirrored these results.
Now to bt mobile. Weve never dropped below 70 Mbs sometimes getting 130Mbs download and 10Mbs up in the same locations that I used sky mobile. I'm really happy I feel my phone has been released from the choking data speeds of sky mobile.
Switching was easy and seamless. I can't fault it at all. Thank you BT for giving my mobile a totally new lease of life. No more waiting, no more buffering. No more "no connection".
I also get voice over lte which very few operators provide. It makes a big difference to call quality and there is no data slow downs when on a call.
Family sim plans if you have bt internet offer very good value for such amazing coverage. Data speeds and coverage this good demand a premium price tag. That said I feel I get good value for money using existing customer discounts.
Overall very happy.
