I bought a Brother printer fax from Staples with several original toner cartridges. I bought it because the hardware looked robust and good quality. The problem was the software stopped the product from working and I was directed to the Brother helpline by Staples where I was given wrong information about a work-around the problem which worked for a couple of days and locked up again. When I rang up the second time the guy on the phone said I had been given wrong information and there was nothing they could do about it. So I said I would take it back to Staples for an alternative product or a refund. I tried that and got neither. After wasting 拢300 on this faulty product which cost me lost business while the fax wasn't working, I had to buy another product from another shop (a Hewlett Packard) which I've had for a couple of months now and works fairly reliably, Both Staples and Brother have my contact details and have had two months or more to resolve this, but neither has made any attempt to contact me. I shall not be buying from either of them in the future.
