I bought this mare from Gene Ross from Broken R Stables this TWH mare was advertised as great kids horse. I bought her for my daughter and Gene said she would be perfect for her that his grandson rode but after words I found out it was only on his property. I told Gene that we were going to take her out to ride he told me to ride her first that send up a red flag because a kid safe horse is what it is kid safe.Well I took her out she buck with me and bolted with me.I have been riding my whole life and am a good rider If I would have put my daughter on her she would have gotten hurt.I called Gene and told him I wanted my money back and the shipping and he can pay to have her ship back to him.He told me I was scamming him I told him if anyone was being scam it was me.He laugh and told me I don't no anything and that I should go ride a merry-go-round and called me a FB I told Gene I was taking her to my trainer to prove I was telling the truth that this horse was not kid safe or trained. He just laugh and hang up on me. I paid him $51 deposit on her from paypay he tried to say it was for the shots which is bull the shots came out to $89 and the coggins and health cert was $79 which comes out to $168 the seller pays for that not the buyer and then he wanted me to wire the bal to him which I did. I now have more money into her because I can't sell her the way she is. With buying her shipping and 3 months of training at $750 a month it comes out to $5369. I don't need another I have one and my husband has one and we need one for my child we keep our horses I have own my horse for 13yrs and my husband's horse for 24yrs before we put her down and got him another one.Gene is a lying horsetrader if he was a honest person he would have done the right thing I now have $5369 into her. Here the letter from my trainer

Diane Dodd's Professional Horse
To whom it may concern,
My name is Diane Dodd and I am writing this letter to give my professional evaluation of a painted walking mare named Bella. Who was placed in training with me .I am a professional horse trainer, with over 35 years of experience in training equine. My evaluation is as follows.
The horse in question has know training . Meaning she knows nothing but get on and ride. She had absolutely no concept of "cues". Such as stop or whoa , back up , lateral movement, bend from side to side . She was very stiff and rigid throughout her body. Her only real knowledge was to go forward. The mare tends to be a very forward or fast mover in general. A horse with those tendencies can become dangerous or out of control very quickly for a beginner or novice rider or child.
It is my understanding that this horse was sold under the context of being a "kid safe" or beginner safe animal. I find that to be completely false. In the equine community "kid safe" is considered to be a been there done that type of animal. Very easy to handle, soft and responsive to cues, overall non reactivate to outside stimulation or elements that may scare or spook the animal. Where nothing really gives the animal any bother. This is not the case with this mare.
When this mare came to my facility she displayed no attributes that would deem her "kid safe". She was and is more suitable for an experience rider. Not a child or beginner.
If there are any further questions about my evaluation please feel free to contact me at
