RATED 5 STAR !!!!!
I WOULD SAY DONT JUST LOOK AT REVIEWS EVERY TRADER HAS GOOD AND BAD CARS BUST I HAVE JUST BOUGHT ANOTHER CAR OF THESE GUYS AND ITS REAL GOOD !!!
,
Having purchased the car less than 10 mins after leaving the forecourt an engine light came on. Whilst test driving the car I was told there were no issues with car. I immediately returned the car at which point the guy there said it's nothing to worry about. In spite of this I asked him to check it. He 'checked' it and switched the light off. Despite the light coming back on I was happy that the engine light was not effecting the vehicle.
However, a few days later I started to have problems with both the clutch and the breaks. I was very upset and wanted to return the car. I did some research and despite them selling the car as 'sold as seen' I found out I was well within my rights to return the car. I phoned them up and the owner got very aggressive down the phone.
After no more than a week I returned the car to Broadlane motors. Again upon arrival the owner was very aggressive. I chatted with him and he tried to claim I could not return the car. Eventually I agreed (mainly because we wore me down) that if he fixed the breaks, as it's illegal to sell someone an unsafe vehicle, then we'd leave it at that.
So off I went expecting a call to bring in the car to have it's breaks fixed any day. Weeks passed and every time I tried to call Ali (the boss) was not available and the other guy didn't know what I was talking about so i'd have to ring back (I had my reservations and was certain at times I was in fact talking to the boss). Eventually when I called they told me Ali had left the company and they wouldn't be doing any work agreed by him.
My only choice was to seek legal advice or just chalk it down to a lesson learned. For the sake of an æ‹¢850 car i had to cut my losses and call it a day.
NEVER, EVER trade with this company. They are untrustworthy and can turn aggressive when questioned. Stay well clear!!!!!!!!!!!
