I only use BCA because they grew lice a virus and took over most other auction companies, i have every second of using them, they are terrible, high fees, their card system limit people being able to purchase online unless they buy a certain amount of cars each year.

I am a trade customer and have not been able to purchase online due to the farce of trying to upgrade to online purchase registering.
They are are simply asking for the same details i have already supplied in my trader account.
All the copies of requested documents have been supplied. Its a farce !

After all fees are paid (Gold card holder), most vehicles sell for what you鈥檇 pay through a private seller on Facebook, Gumtree or eBay, and the benefit of buying privately is being able to inspect the car and drive it before purchase. I run a small motor trade business and have stopped using the likes of BCA due to this, they鈥檝e become really greedy unfortunately, even non runners are more expensive than other websites. Customer service is non existent also.

Excellent customer service today at BCA Manchester. There are a lot of negative reviews of BCA Manchester so I thought I鈥檇 give credit where credit is due. I would just like to thank Natalie for her super customer service I have received, She provided me a service which has helped me tremendously and saved me a lot of head ach. If anyone is looking for some help I鈥檇 advise to ask for Natalie. Once again, Thank you 10/10

MINI was booked in for inspection/collection today, rang them at 2.30Pm to double check they were definitely coming as no contact had been made – was reassured that yes, they was a driver still coming and would be today. Received phone call at 5.30pm to say sorry, driver not available and will have to rebook to 8 days later. Unimpressed.

VERY VERY BAD COMPANY, THE HIDE ALL FAULTS IN THE CARS FOR THEIR VENDORS , RUN UP BIDS , AND THEY HAVE NO MANAGEMENT THAT ARE ETHNIC, AND YET OVER 50 % OF THEIR BUSINESS IS ETHNIC. NOT PLAYING THE RACE CARD BUT THIS LOCK DOWN HAS MADE THAT COMPANY MILLIONS AND THEY HAVE NOT PUT ANYTHING IN PLACE TO DEAL WITH THE AMOUNT OF AUCTIONS THAT THEY HAVE HELD ONLINE , THE SKELETON STAFF HAVE BEEN UNABLE TO COPE , S WHY HAVE ALL THESES SALE , ? THEY STILL HAVE FULL AUCTIONS ON LINE AND 10% OF STAFF TO COVER, THEY DEMAND PAYMENT AS SOON AS CAR IS WON , SO THEY ARE PAID IN FULL , AND YET VEHICLE ARE NOT DELIVERED FOR AT LEAST 3 WEEKS. THATS IF YOU ARE LUCKY
MANAGEMENT ARE RESPONSIBLE BUT THESE WAR HEROES ARE TOO SCARED TO ANSWER THE PHONES AND THEY HAVE YOUNG GIRLS TAKING
ALL THE CRAP , AWESOME HEROES ALL OF THEM HIDING UNDER THEIR TABLES ALL OF THEM

I find it so hard to believe that any reputable company like VW would use British Car Auctions to deal with the collection of their cars. They don't show up when you've arranged a collection; you can't get hold of them and, when you do finally talk to someone, they either disconnect you or simply say they can't help you, British Car Auctions is a joke!

Purchased 3 vehicles 2 last week that were graded as 3 and no mention of warning lights. When collected, the Audi had a dashboard Christmas tree and driver waited for two hours to have vehicle looked at by BCA Bedford staff. Reported to online team who rejected the claim. Had the vehicle diagnosed and showing fuel pump issue costing several handled pounds to repair. The other one had gearbox issues that stated in mechanical report as ok. They also refused to entertain the claim stating that they only check 1st and reverse. If you have an issue with 2, 3 etc it will cost 2-4k to repair. This is day time robbery by auction sites that sell you pile of scrap at top prices without being accountable to anyone and supported by the government to rip off customers. They are bunch of arrogant people who know for well you can鈥檛 win against them and you will always be out of pocket when purchasing from auction houses. Dealers are liable for up to 30 days initially to repair, replace or refund a faulty vehicle and this liability can extend up to 6 months. Auctions sell you dodge cars with all faults and get away with misrepresentations.

What a shower of **** this company is. They do not care about their customers what so ever.
They are hiding behind the COVID situation and providing an even worse than normal service by keeping staff off on furlough. They are still ploughing through and selling lots of cars online but dont have the staff on the ground to deal with phone calls, collections or emails effectively.
Phones aren't answered, emails take days even weeks to be answered.
If you pay for delivery, you are given a time scale which isn't adhered to (for example you get told delivery is within 7 working days and it ends up being more like 10).
If you arrange collection your drivers are left waiting ages to pick up vehicles. Blackbushe is by far the worst site for all of the above.
The grading system is utterly pointless. I have had 2 vehicles delivered with damage that wasn't marked on the condition reports. Emailed to file a damage claim (in May) and then hear 2 months later that they have looked at it and they aren't prepared to pay.
One vehicle was clearly damaged between me buying it and it being delivered.
The other vehicle had a cracked dashboard cluster that wasn't marked by the person inspecting the vehicle.
If you can buy vehicles elsewhere, I would definitely advise it. I've had enough of this company and I know of literally 100's of traders that feel like me too.

DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM BCA!!!

I thought I was purchasing from the leasing company PSA, had I known what I know now, I most certainly would not have bought the car
Request the funds quick enough but therein, there is absolutely no customer service, & you can鈥檛 get hold of anybody on the phone or email, to find out what is going on. Just told that we will have to wait 4-6 weeks to get log book from the DVLA.
If there is a 14 day cooling off period I will be requesting a refund & can then go through the same palava everyone has gone through, to get their vehicle collected…arghhhh!!! NO WIN

FEELING TOTALLY DISILLUSIONED!!

Purchased a car via online auction, advertised as a 1 owner car, when i collected it, it was actually a 4 former keeper car, after numerous phone calls and emails, they agreed to give me a 拢250 refund, which in my opinion wasnt much, this would significantly affect its resale value, after lots more phone calls and a lot of emails, i still havent received the refund or even a due date, in fact, nobody has replied to my last 3 emails, bought the car on June 9th 2020, makes me wonder if they are hoping i will forget, absolutely shocking for such a big company, quick enough to get the money off people,

In general purchasing is good, collecting vehicles could be better, however when something go's wrong and it is totally BCA's fault they do not want to know, I spent over 拢50k on vehicles in 7 days, one of them was 拢30k, this vehicle had the battery cover missing, obviously left off by one of the employees, this wasn't disclosed or reported, when I advised customer services of the missing cover which should have been disclosed or reported they simply said we do not report this and they will not stand the cost for replacement. CUSTOMER SERVICES AT ITS WORSE

Bca walsall by far the worst one they donrmt repkt to emails and phone calls and then they charge you storage despite you trying to get your car anyway other bca branches they don't charge storage as the system is faculty and they know, rude stuffspoke to a lady at walsall who told me they word and put the phone down , later I noticed my account is suspended, I'm not bothered as I uh over 400 cars a year and going to buy all of them from meinhiem and save mo money

Bca were supposed to collect my vehicle which I lease from Lex Autolease, I had been given a time slot of 08:30am to 5:30pm, I received a phone call from them at 5pm saying that there was no driver available to collect the car. They have rescheduled collection in 11 days time!

To fail on a simple collection is one thing, but to not notify me of this further in advance is unacceptable. Surely they must have known a driver wouldn't be able to pick the car up before 5pm.

Having seen other reviews on here it is clear that they do not function properly as a business.

AVOID IF POSSIBLE!!

Worst Auction to deal with in the UK! Horrific attitude! They expect you to pay for your car, then have to wait days and days for confirmation then have to wait days and days for an actual date! Its shocking behaviour and they should be held accountable but they aren't. Haven't got most of the staff back yet they are selling their cars anyway. Trying to take advantage of the furlough scheme the greedy, horrible company.

Blackbushe-Cars should be delivered within 7/10 day
Month later still waiting

Enfield – they sell cars as runners and when you collect you have to push them out

Manchester
Now July, waiting since April for this car no refund or car

Paddock – 10 cars purchased , all fit for scrap. By far the worst site.

So far Bedford ok, I have bought over 1000 cars from them and they still do not look after you

AVOID ALL IF YOU CAN

I've had 5 booked appointments for my car to be collected by BCA – each time I've cleaned my car and prepared for it to be inspected, waited in patiently and have tried to reach customer services after 9.30am to confirm if the collection is going ahead. Each time, I've been on hold for more than 20 minutes, only to be told that the driver had cancelled the collection. When rebooking, the next available appointment is another 2 weeks into the future. If you can't collect my car, at least have the decency to confirm with me so that I am not waiting in all day expecting someone to come to my door, along with the extra time cleaning up the vehicle each time. Really very poor customer service.

My car was collected today by a very nice man who鈥檇 called me in the morning to give me his ETA. My car had suffered some damage so I was expecting a charge but I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable approach taken to the assessment and the cost of the repairs. It was a very positive experience.

I returned my lease car today. The inspector called me to give me an hours notice, and performed a detailed inspection. I had some damage to 2 alloy wheels which he says will cost 拢70, Chips Away locally had quoted me 拢150 per alloy. I had cleaned the car properly inside and out, which obviously helped, and had properly cleaned the glass with vinegar and blacked the tyres. No issues at all.

I feel giving one star is to much, I had a car delivered, paid 拢15k for it and the steering rack was clunking badly even though nothing was reported on the assured report! After weeks of chasing them finally got them to agree to take the car back and refund me but 4 months down the road I鈥檓 still waiting for it to happen! Emailing and ringing constantly but nothing getting sorted! I鈥檝e never dealt with a company so bad in all my life

Honestly such a joke company. Told me they would collect my mini between 8:30am-5:30pm. At 5pm I got through after 30 mins on hold the head office to be told the drivers had decided to cancel earlier on. Thank you for letting me know.

Then had to cheek to say we鈥檝e rearranged for next week between 8:30am-5:30pm!! So I鈥檓 expected to sit in ALL day again.

I鈥檓 self employed so if I鈥檓 not working I鈥檓 not earning. So that鈥檚 two days I鈥檒l be out of pocket.

Tried to use their website which is convoluted and designed to deter newcomers -spent ages trying to identify process. Then, during the pandemic they announce they only allow traders access which denys the general public of obtaining cars such as ex-lease for a reasonable price that only traders can now enjoy. Sellers should start to bypass this organisation if they want to maximise their return on their vehicles.
