After 3 months I am still waiting for Handles to be replaced. A few flats in our block had handles that stopped working so the landlords arranged a time for them to come and fix, my windows were missed by the fitter off the bottom of his job list. Phoned and left message after message but never got a callback. Finally spoke to reception who said she would give my number to repairs to arrange another time. No call. Again tried calling many times (answer machine now turned off) when finally got through was told she would go down to repairs and get them to call me straight away. That was 2 weeks ago and still waiting. Windows are great, service is rubbish

Avoid at all costs. Installed Internal patio doors and made a total mess of the surrounding walls. Filled in with polyfilla which a child could have done better. Fitters thought that this was acceptable. When I complained I have heard excuses from the fitter in his 50鈥檚 was still only training despite only ever working in this industry! Next excuse was it was only a temporary measure and they 鈥榝orgot鈥?to tell me! Senior Management continually talk about the contract and the MD apparently 鈥榙oesn鈥檛 deal with customers鈥?from his Jersey home despite having a 25m profit from people like us. No good will gesture when they make a hash of anything as don鈥檛 forget 鈥榯he contract states鈥?Still waiting for the mess to be sorted out 2 weeks later whilst trying to deal with a very patronising Sales Manager. Avoid like the plague. I鈥檓 sure there are better companies who provide better customer service. It鈥檚 a shame I can鈥檛 post photos… it鈥檚 a real shocker.

2 years ago my elderley parents bought a Britannia front door. New beading, new glass and 5 new locks later, today they were locked out for 6 hours! Excuse after excuse! Appalling service and its still not fixed! Would NEVER EVER recommend them!!

Avoid them – After sales is poor, didn't fit them right first time, took ages to get them back in. Lots of promises to fix things and call us back but didn't. Also the design of our french doors means the hinge doesn't have enough clearance so can't open them more than 45 degrees (the gap between outside of hinge and edge of door frame is less than width of standard plasterboard so you can't finish them properly). Have had to cut into wall to allow them to open to 90 degrees. Shambolic

We wanted a new front door and tried a few companies whose service was appalling. We contacted Britannia Windows in Clevedon. They came out quickly and provided a quote which we accepted. The door was fitted a couple of days ago. The fitter was brilliant and the door looks amazing. There was a slight mix up which was sorted. We would really recommend. Very friendly and feel like a local firm who care.

Not a good company. The phone calls that we were supposed to receive never happened. I wouldn鈥檛 ever use them again.

They obtained my order by making false promises there was no way they could keep (installation timeframe) then a dispute over the sizes. With fourteen days cancellation period, no time for the Surveyor to attend so no chance of cancelling if things change then. Paperwork misleading and contradictory. Customer service all but non existent, e-mails ignored, phone calls not returned (or you are cut off whilst on hold). Seemingly no communication between the staff (nice as they seem). I could go on and on! Needless to say I bitterly regret the day I placed my order with this Company

As other reviewers have noted, quality of the actual product is good, fitters are hard working and conscientious. There are some 鈥渂ack office鈥?problems, however, that in my experience resulted in multiple site visits in order to achieve a satisfactory installed product (wrong sizes, wrong material, wrong glass, etc). Sales experience very positive, but alas a troubled exchange with the post sales office.

Firstly, let me say that I and 3 of my neighbours have used this company to supply and fit windows, doors and a conservatory. While the quality of the products is actually quite good, the rest leaves a lot to be desired. If your measurements are correct and you get the right size windows on the day, then the installers do a pretty neat and tidy job. In my case one window had to be manufactured 3 times before it was correct (meaning extra days off work). But the real issue lies with any subsequent repairs or maintenance issues – good luck trying to get them to come back once they have your money. All of the households previously mentioned will attest to the rude and incompetent receptionist who never seems to pass messages on and months of repeat calls needed to get anybody to attend to a fault. In short, it's good when it goes well but be prepared for misery if yours is an installation that doesn't go to plan.
