I was a patient for 6 years with this practice. The medical service was just ok but I stayed with them because of the hassle of moving practices and arranging transfer of records etc. They always showed a marked tendency to prioritise earnings over my health. I ran out of a prescription for my condition, and attended the clinic late one evening without an appointment. I stupidly thought that being a long term customer I could be squeezed in for the 5 minutes it took to write a prescription. Silly me. The receptionist was obviously having a bad day and could only say repeatedly "you must have an appointment to get a prescription" not once but 4 times. I asked her if I could be fitted in and she indicated that I could wait and see. After about an hour a female doctor came out and had a coffee break for ten minutes or so. She and the receptionist both had a laugh at my predicament and treated me with disdain as if I was a drug addict trying to game the system. I left without the prescription and in desperation went to my pharmacist who supplied me with my medications until I could get a prescription. I went back to brindabella family practice the next day for the prescription and was charged $90 for the privilege. Scam and rip off. I left the practice that day. 6 months later they rang to make an appointment for a routine checkup as demanded by my condition. They hadn't even checked to see if I was still their patient, all they were concerned about was the cash flow dictated by their 'practice management program'. Don't go there. Ever. The greatest concern they ever showed was for their cash flow rather than then health of a long term patient. Disgusting parody of client service.
