They have Harkins here as well!
Glad there's some shade when your outside but not much.

/* Tried to find a Linux store but there was just a big pile of bricks and shelves. */
There's an ok food court, GameStop, and a play area for kids to burn off some energy, a small splash pad that may or may not be turned on, and a number of free-standing restaurants and stores around the mall. There's also a nice Barnes and Noble with cafe that serves Starbucks drinks but has way better food.
Also the obligatory booths down the mall walkways with sales people trying to flirt their way into getting you to buy salt lotions or whatever.
Overall it's a pretty decent mall and I have spent some time here.

Fast forward to now and we still love coming here, except now we love shopping together and having girl time along with Grandma. My teenager's faves: Forever 21, H&M, Sephora (my fave too!) and Mine: Express, Victoria's Secret, Footlocker (I have a sneaker obsession, well shoes in general). My mom's faves are Ann Taylor, Loft, Macy's, & Dillard's. Honestly we could spend all day at this mall!
Going shopping can work up an appetite, so we always look forward to splurging at Wetzels Pretzels and Boba Tea Co. and if we are going to eat a sit down meal, it's great to have different choices depending on what we crave: sushi at Kona? Thai? Rubio's? Pizza? Cheesecake factory?
Harkins is right next to the mall and tons of other restaurants. Parking can be crazy on the weekends. They do have valet over by the food court entrance, although I've never used it.
All in all, Chandler Mall is my favorite mall! Nice enough to get cute and get out of the house and out of the heat with a good mix of high end stores, boutiques, and all our faves. This place is very nostalgic for me and I will definitely continue to support this mall on a regular basis. Who knows, you might see me there one day lol

Why? Not because I'm a shopper but because I became a part time mall walker.
I guess I'm showing my age here but when I don't want to go to the gym and just want to just get out, my husband and I head over and walk with all the seniors, new mommies and fitness minded. This mall opens at 6 AM. It's awesome.
At the same time when we time it right and we head over during the late afternoon, we are able to get some quick eats in the food court. This mall is clean, safe and parking easy to get to and has good big box retailers in the center. You will not want for anything.
So whether you're a mall walker or not, if you're in Chandler you should check it out as it has everything you need from shoes to fashion and best thing about it, it's hardly ever crowded.

So it's your typical mall to go to if you need something or just to hang out!

My millennial nostalgia for preteen consumer culture got real as I walked around. Take your teens' phones and drop them off here.

As others have noted in their reviews the major anchor stores makeup the greatest square footage combined: Macy's, Dillards, Sears (shocking they're still around), and Nordstroms. The mall is clean and bright with an easy means of getting around unlike the mega malls I'm used to like the Illinois Schaumburg mall or Mall of America. In retrospect, I think parking was much easier to find there than this place. I thought the major restaurants were connected to the mall, but only found them accessible outside. Not ideal when one is trying to escape the sun's rays.
This double decker mall houses all of your standard stores. And, it's a nice place to spend some time with friends and family in the desert.

The lady who helped us with the cookware was also helpful!

I like this mall it's a nice environment. I wish there was two main elevators to accommodate everyone even the slobbish patrons that want to squeeze in them instead of walking to a escalator. Of course I have kids and one in a stroller. The little play land is so full of conjunctivitis causing bacteria my eyes just start to water when I walk by that place. I just walk fast and smile at all the families with red swollen eyes!
Parking can be a beast! I am a man of habit and try to park in the Same area.. I wish KB toy store could come back
All in all I have been to some raunchy malls and this is bar far a classier mall… I am a tough critic and this is a good rating..

You can still find cool stores here. There is something for everyone, while it's not the Scottsdale Fashion Square you still have Nordstrom's, Macy's and the Apple Store which always looks different when you stop by. You can still bring your children and have a break in their play area which is by Barnes and Noble. Catch a movie and then go eat at some fun restaurants. The mall is surrounded by so many different stores you can spend all day in this area of town. They even have a Jamba Juice in the mall!! Heck yeah as Napoleon Dynamite would say. I still shop at my go to stores which is fine but it is still nice to browse and support the economy.
