Staff very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. The only thing; the shuttle bus pick up point wasn鈥檛 clear. Usually when you use an off airport site car rental they have a free phone system to tell them you have arrived. Centauro don鈥檛, so we spent a while thinking we had got the wrong place.
I would use them again.

Very nice people at the office, not pushy on selling extra insurances, nice upgrade to Nissan Qashqai, smooth return and polite and smiling service!
We will use Centauro again!
Only improvement is information on where the shuttle will pick us up at the airport! Parking No. 5 is big!! – Maybe put up better signs or explanation in info email!

I rented my car on the 21st of February landing in Malpensa from Dublin. Because of CoronaVirus, when my rental was up I was by law unable to leave my municipality for reasons other than work or health. I checked with the guards who confirms that if I am stopped attempting to return it I would be fined 鈧?00.
So I contacted the company who took days to get back offering two solutions:
– extend at the tune of 鈧?00+ per week (when I no longer need the car as I can't use it and the shops are at walking distance) or
– get it towed at the 'cheap' price of 鈧?50
So, I am stuck with this car and I have to pay to either keep it parked in the garage not using or to have it returned. Thank you Centauro for helping people in this time of crisis where I personally am losing a portion of my salary and my sister has lost her job. I want to say something really bad but in respect to TrustPilot's readers, I won't. It is in these moments that you figure out what companies stand for, you stand for taking advantage of people in the most desperate moments.
To all: please don't work with this company.
Moreover, I would have been happy to pay a small sum for keeping the car until the lockdown is over, even though I don't need it, to meet them half way but no effort was made whatsoever form them, this is more then deplorable.
It's not like they need the car back as no-one can drive around so this is just trying to squeeze customers for reasons outside of customers' control.

Other companies received a very negative response. The general very negative response made me very nervous about renting a car at all in Italy. My nervousness was unjustified as everything worked perfectly and the Centauro people were very friendly.
I think that the reason for the many dissatisfied experiences is that many people choose the cheapest company and service at all and at the same time expect the same quality as if they had paid a little bit more – it is without any sense. I chose all included by accident and theft which was not significantly more expensive compared with the service it provided me.
With everything included I can only recommend Centauro.

Stay far away from them, they may seem cheap but they will cost you more money and aggravation in the end.

When I delivered the car, I had to pay by credit card 290 euros for 2 small scratches of two centimeters, about 15 centimeters away.
The inflexible secretary said it was the same damage.
His colleagues was against the charge, considering that it could not be the same damage.
In fact the two small scratches were too far apart.
I called the Police to report the incident, against the managers of the agency. I will sue the company even if it will be difficult because it does not have a legal office.

It was by far my worst experience with a car rental!
I waited around 40 minutes for the shuttle
There is a reason why they are cheap! They want to charge you by extra costs.
I reserved a car with a full to full fuel policy, but they delivered the car with 75% fuel. When I asked my reservation is full to full they said "the meaning of the full to full is to return the car on the Same level" !!! As soon as I heard that I understood something should be wrong.
After I asked them to refuel the car they simply said they can't!!!!!! And just after I refused to accept the car they refueled the car. It was the worst experience ever! Everyone who rents cars knows that it's strange not to give you the car in full when you booked so.
They also told me that the car is new and there is no need to check it, but the car was full of scratch which we inserted the most important ones in the contract and agreed that I won't be charged for the Minor ones.
But as soon as I returned the car, they told me that the plate has a curve and you have to pay for it! The curve on the plate was so small and I am sure it was there before I rent the car, and it was something we agreed vocaly not to be charged because they are small and we can not write all of them on the contract.
At the end they refused and said I am responsible for everything which is not inside the contract and I have to pay 350鈧? Even if they want to charge me it should not have been more than 50-60 鈧?However the curve on the plate and scrahes on the hood existed even before I rent the car.
I already talked with my lawyer to go against them. It's important for me to show them they cannot charge everyone as they want.
