Sellers beware. Catawiki is in charge of the auctioneers, some are good, some are very bad and are not suitable to be called auctioneers. If you do not agree with your comment, you are banned and ALL YOUR MONEY WILL BE KEPT WITHOUT ANY RIGHT OF ANSWER AS LONG AS IT IS PHYSICAL.
After 5 years and tens of thousands of euros in fees, I was forbidden to ask an auctioneer why he had denied my ad, but allowed 4/5 people the same. I have tried to file a complaint, but harmed sellers have no recourse.
I am now going to seek legal action after my funds have been illegally held for more than 2 months.

Catawiki, in response to your pathetic attempt to suggest that my watches were not genuine, EVERYTHING I sold for 5 years was genuine.
The suspension of my account was instigated by 2 of their experts who abused their position on a regular basis.
As for keeping my funds, there was no basis for doing so under their 'rules'. This statement is an absolute lie and they should be ashamed of themselves.
Have you ever considered the 'right to reply' to be a normal option in everyday business? You suspended my account without giving any reason or right to dispute. Customer services declined to take calls and answer emails. You are a joke of a company.

I speak from the point of view of a MINERAL seller and natural history and as a warning to navigators, especially if they are not Italian because in my experience for several years the treatment given is very different depending on which country you come from regardless of the quality of the lots you offer.
The so-called experts are everything but that, they do not know how to differentiate gold from pyrite, they are arbitrary, inconsiderate, conceited, and yes, they are also quite useless.
If you are a seller, look for other platforms that exist and with better conditions in their management and without depending on whether a pseudo-expert of these accepts your lot or not. Then they pay you when they feel like it and the 16% commissions are usury and they really are because they CHARGE COMMISSIONS UP TO THE BUYERS, something really unheard of, taking 25% of the bid amount just to annoy the neighbor. So if you are a buyer, find yourself where you are not charged for buying because this is the only case I know.
Be careful also because the page informs about standards that are often false or misleading.
Anyway, a trap very well presented to deceive anyone who goes there to sell or buy.
Experts do not miss them because of course they hang medals based on cheating and mistreating the unsuspecting who dare to hang lots in this digital tombola.

The biggest problem of Catawiki is it customer support. You can send emails and wait almost indefinitely for an answer. The only way you can reach someone who will be able to to answer your question is to call Catawiki.

Generally I'm satisfied, except one great problem I had by transaction. On the Catawiki website it was possible to pay via "Przelewy 24". I paid for the item and the next day the money returned to me
decreased. I tried to pay second time and again I received a refund of the payment reduced by about 10 euros. I paid the third time directly to the catawiki account and it finally worked. I have not received an apology for this situation until today. I also did not receive the money I got cut. The seller probably also did not receive an apology for the delay in paying for the auctioned goods, despite the fact that it was not my fault.
