Sent the phone and received acknowledgement that they received the package and I received my cheque.

Absolutely horrendous company!
I paid to send them my phone on Special delivery which cost me 拢7.15! Initial offer was 拢120 which they reduced to 拢90 on testing and inspection! ( My phone was in perfect condition!)
I have phoned and left 3 messages on a voicemail service and had zero response, to top it off i have now sent them 3 emails and guess what no response either.
I have received no payment for my phone and neither have they sent me back my phone.
I am taking a trip down there tomorrow as fortunately for me they are not that far from my home town. God help them is all I can say!
All these perfect reviews on their site clearly are fake and prob posted by them themselves!
Beware DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

As I have received no payment, no response to either of my e-mails and nobody answers your telephone line, I have lodged a complaint against CashMyPhone with the Trading Standards Institute via the Citizen's Advice website.

I can understand a genuine mistake where the payment hadn't been processed. But to completely ignore your customer when they notify you of this issue twice is completely unacceptable, suspicious and devious and it appears I am not the only person who thinks so.

To quote your website About Us page:
"Above all, we care about our customers. Thats why weve made our mobile phone recycling process speedy and straightforward. We dont leave you hanging around waiting for payment long after youve sent your handsets to us… Thats our guarantee to you."

You may need to rethink this statement because if you really cared about your customers, it wouldn't take a lot of research to find that a large majority of them don't agree with it one iota. I wish I had read the reviews before I sent 3 phones to this company,I have emailed them,got no reply,tried ringing,just engaged tone and still no payment after 3 weeks,use this company at your peril.

Never ever use this company! We made the big mistake of not reviewing this company before using them. We sent an iPhone 4s 16BG off to them a month ago after receiving a quote of 拢170. A couple of days letter e-mail response stating they where knocking 15% off for "excessive wear and tear" reluctantly accepted the offer and as of yet we have not received payment. They do not answer the phone or respond to e-mail. This company needs to be shut down immediately! We are contacting trading standards and action fraud as this company are criminal. What they are doing effectively is committing fraud.

PLEASE, PLEASE do not use this site. I sent a brand new iphone 5 to them and firstly they sent back an email saying that the condition of the phone did not match their terms and conditions …… honestly, it was brand new and posted in a dozen layers of bubble wrap ! Suspect this is a standard reply they give to everyone regardless of the condition of the phone.
They offered me 15% less. I was cross at first but some money is better than none, so I eventually emailed back accepting their reduced offer.
Since their standard reply I've heard absolutely nothing. No money, no communication whatsoever – they don't pick up their phones, they don't reply to emails. This company is a complete scam and should definitely be closed down. I'm wondering how I can get my phone or my money back now.

Do not believe the five star comments they are most likely fake. They offer high prices then send you an email telling you the phone was in poor condition every time. Reduce the price and then never pay. No response from emails or phone calls. This company needs to be shut down. Do not use ever.

Sold my Old phone to this Company. The process was very simple and good communication by the Team. I have other phones to sell and would recommend them to anybody who wants to sell their phone without any hassle.

Taking Service from CMF for second time, once again the service is very Concise and Fuss free. It is the easiest and fastest way to recycle your phone and it doesn't cost you a penny and you will get your money in your bank account. It's just of entering details of your phone etc.., online and leave the rest. Their freepost packet is with you within a couple of days and all you have to do is put your phone inside following the instructions given and the rest will be take care by CMF.

Diabloical, sent my phone in good faith, no contact. No phone returned as requested, no money. Do not answer calls or emails. DO NOT USE this company, total ripoff merchants. Hope they are ready for the wrath of me though as will get my money back in the very near future, be warned cashmyfone…..

I sent two phones (Samsung Y and Nokia C3-01) in excellent condition. I was offerred a good price 拢38. Firstly they said they had not received them. Then admitted they had but only offerred 拢16. I did not accept this offer. They sent a cheque for the reduced amount which I rejected. I requested the return of both phones. I have had no contact fro this fim after sending over 20 emails. I have not cashed their cheque as I consider the offer to be derisory. Avoid this company at all costs. I now wish I had given the phones to a charity organisation.

Complete and utter disgrace to an industry! 6 weeks until i received a decision! Then trying to palm off 15% less then they originally quoted… false promises and a complete disregard for their customers! Avoid this place like the PLAGUE!!!!

I sent my phone into them, as i work for a popular mobile phone recycling firm as a technician, but CMF were offering more for my Samsung Galaxy Note so i sent it to them, it had been kept in a hard case with an invisible shield on the screen from day one, i grade phones like this all the time as part of my job and knew full well this was in top notch condition.

It was sent 1st class recorded delivery on the Tuesday morning, by Friday i had heard nothing but the tracking information was showing it had been signed for in Wimbledon (where their offices are) on the Wednesday.

I got a reply the following Monday explaining they had not received my handset which was an outright lie so i emailed back showing proof of delivery and asking again where it was. Two days later i received another email saying they still had not received it so i sent the same proof of delivery again asking them what they think they are playing at.

One week later i get an email telling me they have found my phone (hooray!) and that it is not in the condition described (oh, what a surprise!) and so instead of 拢168 i would be offered 拢128 (thieving ****!) Although i would of gotten more in a private sale i didn't much like the idea of paying them to post it back, and then have it "lost" in the post.

3 weeks after i accepted their revised offer i received an email (this morning) telling me i will be receiving payment in 2 days via BACS and would i kindly review them on Trust Pilot?

Absolute rip-off merchants making money off of people by offering higher prices to get your phone, and then never offering the price quoted once they have your device. Utterly disgusting.

Do not trust the offer price, as even if you have a 100% prefect phone, they will definitely take off at least 10% of their offer.

I sent a perfect phone to cashmyfone, with no external damage and in total working order. After 6 days of hearing nothing from them, they emailed reducing the price by 10%. They offered no explanation as to why. In my view they didnt offer an explanation because there was no reason to deduct other than the fact they were ripping me off.

I would also note that i then tried contacting customer services several times over the course of a 3day period in which i never got a response.

If you are willing to take at least a 10% hit on the offer price and wait a long time to receive your confirmation email and monies then they may be okay to use. If not, forget them…

The price which they initially offered for my phone was the highest out of all mobile trading sites, so once I received the Free post envelope which was prompt, I headed over to my local post office and sent it. After a week, I knew they would of received it however I had no confirmation emails. After many emails there were still no reply and no answer when I phoned them. I decided to check out the reviews and they were terrible, people were saying that no matter what condition you send the phone in, even if it is literally brand new, they always deduct the price they offer you. Basically they lure you in with a great price before offering significantly less then you expected. Feeling that I have been scammed, I continued to contact them warning them with legal action and surprise they finally replied. I then received an email saying they had received my phone but had deducted 拢5 from it due to general wear and tear. My phone did have many scratches admittedly so I wasn't to fussed as 拢30 was still a good price compared to other websites, plus I just wanted my money after waiting ages for it. I accepted the offer and received another email saying that my payment which I asked to be completed via Bank Transfer should done during 48 hours from now. I had a feeling that it wouldn't which would result in me having to contact them however a day later the money was in my bank. Thank god, I knew if I did not constantly message them that they would have never sent my money and claimed never to have received my phone. Many people who have used these have most likely been scammed so I warn you not to use these and go with trustworthy ones like Mazuma.

DO NOT send your phone to this company. I sent my phone on 30th April 2013 it is now 30th May 2013 still no money. When contacted they state they have not received my phone! Yeah right. Suggested I claim off the Post Office.

I supplied them with my HTC Desire phone. It is less than two years old, and the screen on it was less than a year old as it had been replaced professionally and from that moment on ALWAYS covered with a screen protector. I was quoted a price of 拢70. Two days after receiving my phone that I sent special delivery, I emailed to find out what was happening. I then get two emails minutes after that saying they received the phone but due to not being in the condition stated, price was reduced by %15 to 拢59.50. Very poor communication, ignoring phone calls and voicemails, promising to call me back and "forgetting" and late payment, as well as their T&Cs not matching what they actually charge, as well as what I feel was a bogus fault "scratch on right lower screen" leads me to heartily recommend you avoid this company like the plague. Do not use.

I was looking for an upgrade over my current iphone 3gs to the iphone 4s thats when a friend of mine told me about this site cashmyfone i looked at what they were offering and thought it was a good price for a used smartphone i ended up recycling both mine and my wife's htc mobile phone to them! payment was sent fast and hassle free would use again..

Good price is offered for some handsets while a lower than other recycler price is offered for the rest.. Payment is smooth customer service is a bit slow but got my money in the end. Would use again if a good price is offered!
