Don鈥檛 even pay you for 27 black bags full

Here鈥檚 the thing. I gave a particular designer cardigan to cash for clothes Crawley but wow it appeared for sale on eBay. I know it鈥檚 the same one as he/she said they bought from Matalan and it was only sold in Debenhams/House of Fraser. Be careful they obviously g through the bags after you have gone and pick stuff out to sell on eBay for themselves!!!

Sent off a huge sack, so full I could barely tie it shut and so heavy I couldn't even lift it and had to drag it to my steps for collection. 2 months later I finally receive my money – a grand total of 拢5.21.
They provide images of rejected items (although do state that they don't necessarily have photos of all items they reject, its just an indication – so there's not really much to say why I got so little payment, who knows how much was supposedly rejected). The images depicted minor scuffs on shoes as "major damage", and other similar exaggerations.

I suppose its up to them to decide on what they think is acceptable, but there's not much transparency on where these clothes go.

Here's my advice if you're considering using them: don't bother. If your items are good enough for them to accept, sell them on eBay or Facebook and you'll probably earn more from one single item than a whole bag's worth. If they're not good enough to sell then you might as well give them straight to a charity shop and you can at least feel better about your good deed.

I have used 1 company in the past, selling old clothes for cash. I got around 拢20. So after reading several reviews I thought I would try cash 4 clothes. HUGE MISTAKE. 1 huge white bags which they supplied, filled to the brim with my best no longer needed clothes, bags, shoes other items belonging to family. They collect it via their own driver. Who takes the clothes with no receipt given. I took a picture of the van. After waiting for payment contacted cash 4 clothes 2 weeks later and was told I had earned 拢5. What a joke, the clothes I provided were clothes I simply wasn't wearing anymore in fact because I knew they are rather strict I made sure not to include any stained, damaged items. I recently contacted Bob's Cash For Clothes and earned 拢15, in all honesty the clothes weren't as nice but still good condition. Stay clear of Cash 4 Clothes they are a con.

I bought in several bags and after looking through two good quality bags of clothes the lady decides to refuse to look through the rest of my bags as the clothes were useless! Then I get told that she's selling them privately by several different unhappy customers which is DUSGUSTING! The place needs shutting down! Stealing from charity's before the clothes have left the shop is not right! I made the lady pack my bags back up and take them to car, after which she sat back on her little chair, at her little desk going through her phone! Never again! This is store does not benefit charity in any sense!

These people take your bags and do not pay out the money. We have tried since March to get our money by calling, email and letter with no response. They are con artists. Their phones are now constantly engaged so I'm sure they will be setting up a new website now they have been found out. More needs to be done about these types of companies! Take your clothes to the shop ones and get your cash straight away! We will be going to trading standards and review every possible website.

Picked up 31 bags of clothes over a month and still not paid. Also, unable to get in touch with anyone from the company. I am planning on making them a surprise visit !!!

I used the collection service Birmingham branch . I had more than 10 bags of used clothes to give. The driver told me I will receive payment in 7 working days but I never did. I called them bunch of times and each time I got different answers.I also emailed them but they kept lying to me till I told them I will take this to court. After I said that they decided to pay attention to me. 59 days passed before I received a cheque from the company. The clothes I gave them weight more than 100kg but they claim that 59 kg of clothes was waste. They didn't return those so called " waste" clothes. They kept it and pay so little compare to the price stated on the site. This website is not worth it. All they will give you is stress. They will not call you after they take your clothes. Customer service is a mess so calling them is a waste of time. DO NOT TRUST this website. They are scammers so beware.
