I immediately received an order confirmation via email.
On Monday 21 January 2019 at 12.12pm i received a phone call from the company to advise me that my order would be at my address by Friday 25th January 2019 and i would receive an sms. This was Not the 1-3 day delivery they promise and advertise on Skroutz.gr but i was prepared to wait the extra days reluctantly.
At 12.33 on Friday 25th January i still had not received an sms or phone call from Casaplus.gr or my order. I emailed them directly and received the following response;
"Goodafternoon Sir,
your order is going to depart today from our store and you'll receive later, an sms on your mobile phone with the track number..
Anything you need, please feel free to contact with us..
Thank you"
Obviously not happy with this reply and suspecting that the company was not being honest with me i wrote back to tell them to cancel the order. This prompted a phone call from Casaplus which tried to twist the story in which they claimed i was at fault.
I dont accept any of this as good business practice. They should not be advertising goods which they dont have as available for 1-3 days delivery. I dont believe that the customer should have to chase the order either.
My advice to anyone ordering with this company is to make arrangement to pay cash on delivery.
I have cancelled my order and will now buy somewhere else…
