Cascade Radon

Cascade Radon did an amazing job on installing our mitigation system. The installers, Birch and Donald, were extremely friendly and communicated with us throughout the day regarding status, which was nice. One thing I want to point out is that they were EXTREMELY tidy. I don't think I've ever seen a job site left so clean. The entire process from bid to installation to completion was extremely easy and has been pleasant. Overall, I'm extremely impressed with their operation, installers, communication, and overall experience. Thanks, Cascade Radon for making this a positive experience.

Super easy to work with, price was fair even though there's not much competition. They're always prompt, they explain everything carefully.

These guys are one of the few contracting companies in oregon that actually act professional. What do I mean? Well, I called them and told them I needed a radon mitigation system set up due to a high test result when purchasing my new house. We booked an appointment at my house. They arrived on time, surveyed the work to be done, and sent me a quote. I booked the installation, they came out (again, on time), did the work, and invoiced me. Boom! Done. If I ever need a mitigation system in another house, I'll call them immediately. And if anyone asks me where to go, I'll tell them "Cascade Radon"! Gladly.

Prompt, nice and skilled workers, gets the job done st a reasonable price.

I'm sure that Cascade Radon is very responsive to new customers, per all of the recent customer's 5 star reviews. Our home had a system installed by Cascade Radon. Four months out of warranty in 2018, a fan broke. It took a week for them to get there after I called for service. The repairman (Chip) told me that when he sees a fan that breaks a couple of days out of warranty, he waives the cost of replacement – like this happens all the time. He told me about two specific incidences where this did happen, but he said that 4 months was too long out of warranty for them to do anything on the replacement cost. That was a surprise to me. He did offer a free radon test, which isn't a service we actually need…so no thanks. At any rate, said repairman ordered the replacement part, and I had to call, and call, and call to try to get him out to make the repair. Finally, it was their receptionist Kristen, who really stepped up. She came in early to kindly plead my case to someone who does scheduling and Garrett came that day to make the repair. Hopefully, I didn't spell anyone's names incorrectly in recounting my experience.

You'd think a company would do a better job of standing behind their products, at least by providing a break on the labor to repair the system. Don't believe them if they tell you they're installing a 20 year system. Sadly, it is not, and Cascade Radon won't stand behind the products they sell.

We had a fantastic experience with Cascade Radon. They were communicative, flexible, and on-time with all of the installation and testing services. Everyone was able to clearly answer our questions and were extremely professional and friendly along the way. I would not hesitate to recommend them!

Really enjoyed the professional and reliable service we received from everyone at Cascade Radon. From inquiry to getting a quote, everyone I spoke with in the office, to installation and payment was friendly and reliable. Halden came out to give us a quote and he was fast and explained everything in great detail. I then received the written quote and contract quickly via email and when I called to confirm I spoke with Nicole and she was professional and friendly. I gave my deposit and they explained that I would get a call to confirm and why. When I got the call, they were again professional and kind. Dakota came to do the installation and called ahead to give us a warning he was on his way. He kept everything clean and neat during the process and was very professional. Even the employee who came to get the monitoring system a few days later was nice and professional. Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend Cascade Radon if you need them!

Excellent! I got estimates from a number of providers, and Cascade was the only one that had timely communication and a competitive price while also coming to my house to do the estimate (many providers simply gave estimates over the phone, which I don't think is a good practice for something like a radon mitigation system.) I would definitely recommend them.

Having Cascade Radon install our radon venting and fan could not have been a better experience. Especially given that they drilled our foundation, ran pipe up the back of our house, drilled holes in two roofs, ran power to the fan, and cleaned up after themselves.

Ben was awesome, running circles around a handyman and his crew I had working on another project, and also having to deal with a foundation estimator who was in and around his work area as well.

A basement window pane was accidentally cracked due to the foundation drilling, and Wade at Cascade offered to personally replace it a few days later.

One of the best experiences I've had with a home service provider. Cascade radon works like a well-oiled machine. Every person on the team with whom I interacted was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, conscientious and efficient. From my first call to my final interaction, they were available, organized and kept me informed every step of the way. Turn-around for an appointment was quick, installation was even faster. The system was installed meticulously, the installers cleaned up every speck of dust before they left my house. And most importantly, they reduced the radon level in my home to *well below* the US EPA recommended safe level. Bravo!

I called them to help me with a new home I am building. I sent them my plans they told me that they would get back to me and I never heard from them again.

We researched our local radon options extensively, and chose Cascade for their expertise and competitive pricing. We also liked that they are a family owned business. They did a great job in all aspects of the work, and we are very pleased. They explained things well, worked with us on system placement, and cleaned up well. One fellow even fixed our gate in a spare moment. The employees always seemed happy. I would recommend them with enthusiasm!

While selling a house my homebuyers contracted with Cascade Radon to perform a 2 day radon test. Of course our levels came back just above acceptable. This necessitated a $1575 mitigation system be put in place. As the homeowner I contacted Cascade Radon and signed a contract for the work, paid a $500 deposit and scheduled an appointment. The earliest appt available was 10 days out putting us right up against closing. The day of the repair we were waiting at a vacant house for 2 hours when I called to find out what was going on. We were not on the schedule and no one could explain what happened! They also couldn't find my information because they still had the buyer's name on my paperwork. Through much aggravation they did install the system that day but did not install it the way we had discussed. We were not able to monitor from start to finish because of the scheduling problem. When we arrived they had already put the system in a completely different place. Following this Cascade Radon continued to send me bills for payment in the name of the homebuyer. Also, they neglected to credit me for the $500 deposit. It took my realtor several emails to straighten that out. When I called to make a final payment they couldn't find my bill under my name. I would not hire this company. They may be highly recommended and skilled but dealing with them may just cost you a home sale and will be sure to cause you much aggravation!!!
