I got a shipment of HP remanufactured cartridges. Only one of them worked. The other three are DOA. I tried trouble shooting them for about an hour. Then when I wen to try and get a refund or replacement, they never responded. There live chat isn't working right now. They didn't answer the phone. I couldn't find an email address anywhere. Somehow my password didn't work for my account and I requested a "Forgot Password" and have yet to receive an email, over 3 hours ago. I am very disappointed with this company. I bought from them because they guaranteed they would work. 75% of the ordered cartridges DO NOT WORK. And I can't I can't figure out how to get this fixed. What a shame. I DO NOT recommend this company to anyone.

We have used 499Inks for years with color cartridges & now with toner cartridges.
Sam Parker has done a terrific job in handling our account. Timing, prices, pricing, problem solver are his main skills as he helped us achieve our needs.

The service was slow, after five days I sent an email asking about my order. After sending email I received a reply stating items were shipped that day. After receiving the order there were no instructions inside stating how to refill cartridges. But since I had read info online on how to do it , I really did not need their instructions. The results of refilling with their ink is below. After I complained about leaking ink from cartridges; I received three emails from them. The first said they would replace bad product, the second asked if I followed the instructions, and the third stated that since I had no instructions and did not follow the instructions it was my fault and they would not replace the cartridges. I bought a couple remanufactured Canon cartridge and their refill kit for all colors. The remanufactured cartridges have ink that dries out if you don't use printer every couple of days. I never had that problem with Canon ink. After ink dries , you have to pull out printer head and clean it to get it working again . Also need to run clean print head cycle several times to restore quality. This obviously wastes a lot of ink. In regards to the refill kit ; it is a total disaster. I refilled the yellow cartrige. Ink went in reservoir then soaked into sponge area as expected but any ink left in reservoir area leaks out bottom of sponge area. You cannot get any ink to stay in reservoir so the printer keeps reporting low ink error. Obviously, all the ink you put in reservoir is wasted all over your work area and is a total mess. So, I would not buy anything from this company. even though I despise the high prices Canon charges for ink, I think you are stuck unless you can find a better company that provides a better product. At least I haven't ruined my printer as of now.

Update in response to CA's reply on 7/5/16: I 100% disagree that I "misunderstood" your response from customer service. I point blank questioned the Customer Service Representative "CSR" when I was told that I should not expect the refill cartridges to last as long because they are so cheap from your company. This information was in direct conflict from previous information from your company and it's CSRs. As stated, I questioned this reasoning because it was so different from anything I had been told previously and your CSR's reply was the same: "they are cheap it is unreasonable to expect the same amount of ink life". The issue I had with your cartridges was that they lasted 1/4 of the time that the factory cartridges last – this had nothing to do with the ink levels shown on my printer information – it was cold hard fact that my paper no longer had ink when I printed. And yes, as I stated in my update, your company did send me free replacement cartridges. I was also repeatedly asked to remove my review in appreciation of that service. I think that removing my review would be a disservice to anyone researching your company so instead I gave you an additional star.

Update (changed from 2 to 3 stars): Upon posting a two star review I was immediately contacted several times by Cartridge America's customer service. They indicated that the refill cartridges would not last as long as the factory cartridges because they were so inexpensive and offered me a discount (which I declined). They then offered to replace the three cartridges at no charge (accepted). I received the three replacement cartridges within a week or so.

Original Review:
I ordered fourteen color and black refilled cartridges for my Epson Stylus Photo 1400.

Background/history: I use this printer 2 days a week and am not printing photos and very seldom do I print color. The color factory cartridges last at least 12 months and the black lasts around 6 months.

Cartridge America: Upon installation of three different color cartridges in my printer they all showed as between half and 2/3rds full. I contacted customer service and was told that CA's cartridges will last just as long as the factory cartridges. I gave them a chance and they lasted barely three months – that is less than 25% of what a factory cartridge lasts me.

I would not recommend this company's products and was not pleased with their customer service.

Ordered 3 toners for my Brother fax machine and was surprised at how cheap they were. Expected them to not work as well as they do, so I am pretty happy. Friendly staff as well helped me through a tracking number issue which was answered promptly.

I give Cartridge America 5 stars. The shipping is FAST and I didn't have a problem with the ink cartridge. I spend a lot of money on ink. So, to save 80 dollars is a steal. I don't see how anyone can complain. Specially if you can get your package in 2 days. I'm ordering here ALL the time for now on. Thanks Cartridge America. P.S I rarely leave reviews. But I thought it was important to counter negative reviews. Everybody have different experiences.

One of the biggest reasons I went with this company was that it was a Google Trusted store. Otherwise I wouldn't have gone with them because I never heard of them. They had good communication from the get go. The package arrived quickly within 4-5 days. Items were as advertised and with a bonus item: A cleaning cloth and CD-ROM with instructions. Nice. Good Job Cartridge America. Impressed!

Finding color printer ink in singular packaging is becoming extremely difficult and costly (over $65 for black and color). I am fortunate to have my black cartridges provided by my employer; hence buying a black & color combo is ridiculous. With your service, I essentially got 2 free cartridges. I didn't have to spend endless unsuccessful searching for Lexmark color cartridges. I am more than satisfied and will continue to be a customer!

I recently purchased a high yield toner cartridge for my Brother printer and high capacity ink cartridges for my Epson printer and I am very happy with their products. I would recommend Cartridgeamerica to anyone without hesitation.
