Absolutely satisfied with my carpet

Persian Gabbeh carpet. In the big scheme, the carpet looks exactly like the photo, with vibrant colors, and I like it. It bears the "properties" that I went for. It's coarse and thick, plush and with large knots, thus it is able to enhance the acoustics in my living room (dampen sound very well, I confirm this works). Supposedly I received a discount of somewhere around 33%, but I think the carpet was a bit over-valued to begin with and I doubt that the specified knot density of 90.000 (9 knots per square-centimeter) is actually met. CarpetVista includes a picture to document the knot density from which I gauge a knot density of 60.000, but knots in carpets are more complicated than this (with warp levels and knot types) and I recommend that CarpetVista include a description of the type of knot found in the carpet because this cannot be determined from a photo and you need to have the carpet in your hands to assess this detail. To me it looks like there's 6 knots per sq-cm (like the photo showed). I investigated the market for a long time, and I kept coming back to Carpetvista, so it became inevitable that I had to buy from this place. They have an excellent (large) selection, and a web site which is easy to navigate and easy to filter by size, targeting what I was looking for. The information provided during the purchasing and shipping process was perfect. I ordered Monday evening. It was processed Tuesday morning and delivered to my doorstep Friday afternoon.

The order, delivery and speed of delivery was very good.
The color of the carpets where not as I thought from the pictures. I do not think the pictures reflected the colors of the carpets in daylight.

BUT
the carpet had several visible acrossgoing stripes and these stripes had a darker colour that the main colour.
This disapointed us a lot since we were not told, og was not mentioned at all.

This is not how one should do business.
