Carpet Express is Great.I purchase products there because of Alex. I own a installation company and he always finds the materials when we need them .He is the best. I drive 118 miles one way to pick up from him. Yes I can find them closer but the other companies always mess something up. Alex cell phone is on morning till night and on weekends. We are Happy. We drove 4 hours round trip to Carpet Express and picked out 155 yards of 60 oz carpet for 9.99. The salesman said he was giving us a great deal and we believed him, because it was. Our installer picked up the carpet from the warehouse, and traveled 2 hours to install it. He laid down the padding and then started to roll out the carpet. He then pointed out lines in the carpet and asked me if I still wanted him to install it. I asked him if he thought the lines would be noticeable after it was installed. He didn't think so, and told me a first quality carpet should not have lines. We called Carpet Express and they said, they would have someone pick it up. Two men show up in a moving truck with only a dolly that had two flat tires. My husband and son spent an hour helping them get 160 yards of carpet back on the truck using our equipment. This was during the peak of COVID-19 and they had no mask or gloves on. I am a recent cancer survivor and had to quarantine from my own family. Carpet Express said they laid it out overnight and they thought it would be fine. Our installer went to Carpet Express the next morning and said the lines were still noticeable and numerous. My husband spent many hours calling and emailing trying to resolve this issue. They could not find any 60 oz carpet in that price range and offered to reduce the original 60 oz carpet by 1.99 a square yard. This pretty much tells us that they knew it was defective. My husband drove again to Carpet Express and was offered a lessor quality, much more expensive carpet with only a 5% discount for all our trouble. We ended up at Carpets of Dalton where they sold us a 55 oz carpet for $10.50 per yard. This was essentially the same carpet as the 50 oz, that Carpet Express was offering as a replacement. Only Carpet Express wanted $13.99, after discounting it. It was the same manufacturer and was already in transit. So, we still had to wait for it to come in, but having waited this long, it would be worth the wait. My husband was much more patient with them than I would have been. He was nice to them throughout this whole experience hoping he would get better customer service. Don鈥檛 waste your time with Carpet Express, they don鈥檛 care.

Followup:
Having read their response to this posting, it turns out there was a note on the invoice that may have implied that the carpet might be some kind of special. The invoice says, ES262/7783/1ST QTLY SPEC 9.99 – wow, I promise you this was the only indication that we were getting anything less than a 1st quality product. The salesman never mentioned that this carpet was anything less than perfect. He never mentioned that there was no warranty with this product. The invoice does not say that there was no warranty with this product and we had no idea we were getting anything less than what he showed us in the warehouse. My installer will be out in 2 more weeks to install our new carpet. We will have gone well over a month without carpet or furniture in our bedrooms upstairs. We are patient people, and perhaps our patients will pay off. I trust our installer will do a great job. I only wish Carpet Express would find a way to compensate him for his time!

Great fast service, prices and the best customer service!

Very positive experience, so far, with Carpet Express. Was informed by Braun鈥檚 trucking that carpet would be delivered on a Thursday with a courtesy call on Wednesday to confirm delivery and to make sure someone was home. Carpet was unexpectedly delivered on Tuesday. Luckily, we were home. Kristi at carpet Express was great to work with. I will post another review after the carpet is laid

In the midst of this shut down the only online company who could or would help me with my need for only 2 boxes of Bruce cherry flooring was Carpet Express. Carol tracked down the needed flooring and it was delivered to Milwaukee WI with in 1 week. I could finish the job and got paid because they came through. Lowes and 2 other local flooring stores would not help me – too little – special order. Thanks Carpet Express.
