Several years ago, I was searching for someone who truly had experience and knew how to cut and style Very fine hair. I absolutely struck pure gold when I found Caroline Douglas! I've been going to Caroline for a little over ten years now and to this day, she never disappoints. I love that she always takes the time to listen to my needs and wants and offers genuine input that I appreciate so much. I've had ladies stop me in malls and the grocery store to ask who cuts my hair… there's no higher compliment than that!

I don't usually write reviews but after the experience I've just had with the owner, Caroline, of Aspen Grove I feel strongly compelled to write to warn others. I purchased a gift certificate from her first location in Castle Rock five years ago. I didn't give it to the person I had intended to and then soon forgot about it. I found it over the 2014 holidays and called the salon. Same name and phone number as her first location. Caroline was extremely combative and lacked any hint of customer service. She repeatedly spoke over me and was very rude. She actually hung up on me. I called back. I paid $100 for a one hour massage and was expecting a choice of service and or product as an exchange since she no longer offers massage. I was told if I brought her a receipt for the gift certificate she would give me $40 of product or services. A receipt from five years ago??? Otherwise she would not honor it. Mind you, this is a certificate with a stamped registration number on it. I would never use her salon and I strongly urge anyone to reconsider should you be looking for a salon. She is a dishonest person and a very bad business person. I wouldn't chance it.
