Second, this was the worst shopping experience I've had in a VERY long time.
I found the shop googling for a particular model of boots for kids and ended up on the danish version of their website (I live in Denmark). The website looked ok on my mobile browser so I ordered.
Later I found out that my order was being shipped all the way from China. This was NEVER mentioned at any point, and was a disappointment for me. The worse part was when my order arrived. When I opened the box, instead of finding the nice pair of Ecco boots that I had bought, I found a loose pair of chinese shoes from an unkonwn brand that had a very strong smell of chemicals. They didn't look ANYTHING like what I had ordered. No box, no invoice, nothing. Just a random pair of shoes.
I got very upset and contacted customer service immediately through the form on the website and asked for a refund. A couple of days later I got an answer saying that they were confused and would look into it. From this point things got ridiculous. I sent photos of the shoes and the box, and they acknowledge that it was the wrong shoes that I got, but then they claimed that it was not their fault. According to them, they "confirmed" that they shipped the right item BUT the delivery company "confessed" that they had opened the package to check it (why would they do that???) and then somehow put my item in another box and somehow the wrong shoes ended up in a box that was too small to fit the original item, with the label with my address. Worst excuse I've ever heard. But according to them, since the mistake was made by a 3rd party, I didn't qualify for the compensation policy.
I wrote back and complained and they said that they could send me my item again (although I had already told them that I didn't have time to wait anymore) OR that they would refund me if I sent back the wrong item back to them, and mentioning that if for whatever reason it got lost, they wouldn't be able to give me the refund. So now I'm somehow supposed to pay to send back something THEY sent by mistake (presumably) and PAY for shipping to China, while at the same time trusting that they would be honest about receiving the package.
I am extremely disappointed and angry with this company (if they are even a company). They are unreliable, untrustworthy and, to be honest, at this point I'm pretty sure this website is just a scam. I will never buy there again, and I would advise you all to not trust them and buy your shoes somewhere else.
