Been a Care2 signer for 2 years I think, and one who tries to verify validity of petitions before signing. I usually trust humans to lie off the bat, so I do whatever research I can 1st.

Never had Care2 asking me for personal info beyond email, so not sure about that issue. Then again, I won't donate money this way to ensure not being scammed

They do have a plethora of valid, solid petitions… however, as a number of reviews state, there's a sizable number that should never been approved and proven scam petitions.

And given the change of subject of petitions during the US elections on top of the proven scam petitions… their heads staff should be canned and charged accordingly.

The site is solid. I'm sure most who work there are solid, for these reasons they should continue. But not all are solid, and it's them destroying the site

Care2 action is nothing more than a scam to spread misinformation… a far left organization conjuring up hate toward the Republican party and of course, make money while doing it. It is NOT a legitimate petition.

They want you to sign a petition without telling the WHOLE TRUTH. Do research about the person BEFORE you sign. Things are not always as they seem. Fake and fraud

I am okay with signing most of the petitions but why if I don't agree can I move on or get out of care2. You've lost my respect!!!

Just today (6.22.20) got a petition for a dog "This Dog Was So Desperately Hungry That He Ate Rocks to Try and Survive" PROBLEM? This story is OLD News from a year ago. Petition alleges it is to get the man responsible to be charged with felony, not misdemeanor. He WAS charged with felony, one year prison sentence. IS THIS SITE just to get names, email addresses, etc. to SELL YOUR INFORMATION?

I have very little wealth' but I have spirit I have supported all manner of petitions animal rights' the planet 'I went to use my " Butterfly" points and they were all removed' I think this fraudulent site was found out! FRAUD

I wanted to sign a petition about Ahmaud Arbery to hold the police & justice system responsible & every time I tried it wouldn鈥檛 let me, it also wouldn鈥檛 let me report the problem.
I鈥檝e had problems with this site before. I would, if possible use another site to collect signatures.

This petition site is a great idea and I sign quite a few of the ones presented. However,once you sign,you get a page that says,"Confirm your signature," and ANOTHER petition which I almost always do not agree with politically. If I confirm, am I signing the second petition? Just in case,I never 'confirm'.. I still get a thank you so I hope that the good that I am trying to do happens. Have to say though that sneaking another petition in, that has absolutely NOTHING to do with the one you are signing, comes across as underhanded.

I liked the previous version where were butterflies and daily click actions. I used to sign many petitions there but now from time to time I just sign a petition or two.

The website lost its good flavor. Additionally, sometimes I have problems with signing out. So to sum up from a very good petition website it became a poor and tasteless petition website.

This site is for good causes though I've seen some pretty ridiculous petitions on here that shouldn't even be permitted. IF IT WASNT FOR THIS SITE AND OTHER PETITION SITES LIKE AVAZ THERE WOULD BE NO CHANGE IN THIS WORLD.

I loved it before…now I don't have points to donate to my favorite causes. Take me off the mailing list!

I joined Care2 many years ago and get emails about updates on many of the petitions I have signed – all are positive – I definitely will keep signing and supporting this wonderful organization .

I never got spam from them, but you have to be carefull when signing petitions because on each petition there's a box (with very small letters next to it) for subscription that is by default checked (I think), so before signing the petition you have to uncheck this box unless you want to subscribe to the mailing list… And, if you forget to do this, you can easily unsubscribe because on the botton of each e-mail you receive there's an "unsubscribe" link.

Next… I saw people complain that they've had problems logging in because it repeatedly says you typed the wrong password or email/username, when you haven't. And this has happened to me as well. I'm logged into the website on one browser, and on a different browser it doesn't let me log in with the exat same password and e-mail…

Also, it's not really appropriate for children because you can stumble upon some gruesome images of animal abuse etc.

Well, a lot of the petitions are closed and, honestly, it's more of a joke site that likes to take money and go.

Basically, try to refrain.

Avoid Care2Petitions.

I believe they are intercepting and switching petitions to further their left-wing agenda.

I went first to the Law Enforcement Today site (which I found out later is not actually sponsoring a petition for impeaching Trump).
From there I then clicked on a link that sent me to whitehouse.gov.
where I signed a petition to impeach Pelosi. The next day I got a thank-you email from Care2Petitions, thanking me for signing the petition to impeach Trump instead. I sent them an email to complain and when I checked back it was switched to impeachment for Pelosi. They never answered my message.

I had never heard of Care2 before. I noticed there are six other similar complaints about petitions being switched from impeaching Pelosi to Trump on the site.

So I usually sign quite a bit of their petitions on care 2 through their fb page. Then I got to thinking when one showed up again that I signed last year, how come there is never any updates on how the petition has impacted that cause. I opened it up and saw they got all the signatures needed. So I fb msgd them and all they kept doing was asking me to sign petitions or that they couldn't understand me. I'm thinking they just want peoples information to sell

I do not know what happened but the butterflies rewards have disapeared, all the causes for which I was collecting butterflies disapeared and everything changed. It is like the site was sold for money and the new owners eliminated what was bothering them the most. I have seen this so many times. I think many people are dissapointed and will stop visiting this site. I tried to e-mail them and all of the e-mails have been returned as undeliverable. Something is very wrong here and I am very, very dissapointed in them.

I still sign the petitions however I have not read an article or received and email about articles in quite some time, my stars have disappeared as well. I have tried to email a couple of times and have had no response, does this mean you have retired that aspect of Care2? Knowing what happened or if it's coming back would be appreciated. I really did enjoy the information, articles, plus miss the recipes I saved on pinterest from Care2.

I signed a petition to impeach a Governor Whitmer and some how they had a petition in it for a petition to impeach our President. And I would never impeach our President

Terrific..they do a lot of good work in spite of all the Right Wing haters attacking their work. These trolls, cultists have invaded every website & social media sites.

Care 2 has won with many petitions they do great work for our wild life & domestics as well.. I admire them animals are not for humans to play god

They have no concern for animal abuse..they just post fake stories that grab us humanitarians so they can use us for their own political agendas..

Good site to quickly support important petitions from a range of issues, often challenging animal cruelty. Wish they had kept Butterfly Rewards so we earn and choose donations to charity. Apart from this easy to use and good for the world.

There are good things and not so good things about Care2. It is a good forum for sharing opinions and many petitions have changed situations that are unacceptable for humans and animals.
However, I agree with the complaints that apparently no one pays attention to requests and complaints. I have never received a response from them. Now all of a sudden I am not getting the regular Emails any more. I don't know if they're on vacation because they never tell anyone.
It's such a shame. We have lost some very bright, intelligent people. The site could have continued being an excellent source for sharing.
