How embarrassing. I bought a $50 PF Chang card and gave it to a friend. Tonight she took us out to eat with the gift card and the waitress told them that there was only $2.24 on the card. So they had to pay the full ticket amount while I sat there bumfuzzled as to why it didn't have $50 on it. I was humiliated since I'd bought it for her as a gift. I got the gift card from the waitress. She, of course didn't know what had happened. I remembered ordering it for her and looked the information back up on my credit card records.So it turns out that CardKangaroo intends "The gift cards that we sell are pre-owned gift cards intended for saving money for personal use. We offer a 100 day guarantee on all gift card purchases." So BE AWARE of these "rules" before you purchase!!

Edit: You immediately responded to my review. Maybe next time do this response in your customer service, instead of trying to do damage control after the fact. This TX proxy is news to me. And absolutely incorrect, your customer service did NOT reach out to me for days, even after contacting you multiple times. Eventually order was cancelled and I was left to scramble as this was a gift. If you still don't understand that the way you handled customer service was unacceptable, that's your loss. But don't try to mislead other customers here by pretending that the error was on my side. There would have been no issues had you had competent customer service personnel who contact people in a timely manner to resolve any issues. Seems like for customer service people have to leave a negative review here. Maybe then you'll respond right away.
