Ben whom seemed like a fair and reasonable person/business man over the phone and claimed he could and would sell me whole nuts (hazel walnut and almond) so trusting he would do as he claimed and send me a 5kg box of mixed nuts in shell comprised of hazel, walnut and almond. What I received was a 5kg box of ONLY hazelnuts of which were mostly sub grade and often empty or inedible. Having contacted Ben the owner of Carboor harvest by phone and being told by himself he would look into it and get back to me ASAP. Ha funny that! More then 2wks had passed by and no word. I鈥檇 tried getting back to him via email and phone yet have been clearly ignored. Hence this msg in attempts to have him appreciate my disappointment in his lack of communication ethics and following through with his word to get back to his paying customer. I had no desire to have 5kg of one nut type (of which most were sub grade) Would I trust Ben or Carboor Harvest in the future to deliver their said product? Trust Ben as business person? No chance! Rather then simply offering a solution to the customer you simply ignored and hoped I鈥檇 go away. I want the public / nut buyers to know of your business ethics / practices or lack there of.
